1) only small percentage of players bought the game through Steam, and even smaller percentage of players actually RUN it through Steam (because it's unreliable)
2) Steam users are a very specific audience, mostly younger and more importantly, with an attention span of a goldfish. Average Steam user age is about 20-25. Average Elite player age is over 35. It kind of says something about the statistics.
3) Does it even matter. Frontier releases financial reports, every year and they look good. That's all that matters to me.
