Given the number of Corvette CMDRs that couldn't figure out how to high wake when I was destroying them at the new CG...I'd say there is a substantial fraction of the player base that both knows next to nothing, yet cannot conceive of anything beyond their own knowledge.
Ahh "What luck I found your posts here CMDR's" Both posts repped, because they are factual and make sense.
As someone else stated, a programmed routine cannot deviate from it intentionally. To believe so is rubbish and you might as well go all out "Flat Earth" , "6000 year old Earth" on me. You are then officially considered stupid in my world.

That does not mean that glitches and bugs do not exist, they do, they will do to the end of the world. 99 % of any code will in the end contain something that makes it act unintentionally in certain instances. Show me a piece of software that does not.... I am waiting......
Why would FD and SJA make a untrue statement on this matter ? To believe so is .
We have all seen NPC's behave in some completely weird manner, some causes snickering (Inside stations anybody ?) others are frustrating because the 100% sure kill evades us or the the 100 % getaway card is transformed into a rebuy screen. Even our own loadouts have unintentional glitches (Synth ammo across the board ?) but the uproar here is only a squeak...
I suggest CMDR's ditch the conspiracy theories, play the game, and if you experience a loss due to unintentional behaviour, file a ticket.
Else soak it up, change you diaper, grab a new dummy, "goobly gook" to ya, and point you shiny new 'Vette into the void.
Cheers Cmdr's
