Ship Name Profanity Filter is Too Strict?

Ugh. I said was worried it would be like Dark Souls 3 and their "Knight" debacle. In which names such as "Knight Artorias" would show up as "K***ht Artorias" yet the N word with Qs instead of Gs skips right by.
I'll take my sweet told you so points now.

Oh guess I get to find out if "Naked" is considered a filthy word to Fdev!

I want to call my Python the A.Y.S. Penistone*, after a local town.
The filter would have a hissy fit :p.

I'm now tempted to come up with a bunch of random letters for a ship name and stick "***" in the middle, so anyone seeing it will get confused trying to figure out what got censored.

AFAIK special characters and symbols are disallowed in the ship name..... Er... just in case you try to get around the swear filter... or something.

That's exactly what's going to happen, we're all about to get schooled in alternate spellings for assorted ethnicities and body parts.

I guess my ship ' of the Walk' will need a name change.
See, it's already changing it for me.

It's always the mentally deranged that comes up with what kind of words that are "bad" and "dangerous".
And the frightened, no-thinking sheep's that go along with the madness.

What did you expect from FD's five dollar profanity filter? XD
Should be fun to watch as people figure out how to get around it (it's not hard), and FD's response to people getting around it.
