Kind of true but when you cannot name your ship 'Embassy' and have it displayed then the filter is ridiculous.
Yeah, that's pretty silly. The filter needs a good 'exceptions' list.

On topic - there's nothing more infuriating than arbitrary decision about something. Add political correctness and things turn hilarious. I can smuggle drugs (ILLEGAL!!!). I can traffic slaves (ILLEGAL!!!). I can hunt and kill innocent CMDRs (ILLEGAL!!!) and steal their cargo (double ILLEGAL!!!).
But I can't do it in a ship named "Moby " as second part of the name ... I don't have to explain it to you, do I? Stop treating us as 5 yo's. I am mature, have family on my own and if I want to see offensive ship name I should be able to. #demandcensorswitch.

I'm a grown adult with a grown sense of humour and don't see why that has to be dimmed down because someone might let their 7 year old son crash their ship a few times.

Travel to India and you will see the "swastika" all over the place, however as this is an old old symbol that has notting to do with the N- party, many there probably don't even know what the n'z are.

A lot of gamers seem to think that its ok to be in games, thats why we cant have nice things like uncensored ship names
Why you want to say other how they should play?
If someone want express him in stupid way, then he should have right to do it. Action and reaction. He name his ship stupidly and you can think what you want because you know who is who.
Everyone should have right to name his ship as he want (ok, except well known few offensive words) and deal with a consequences of it.
Do you want to play with a folk with a shipname SMS Schleswig-Holstein? Me not. However he should have a possibility to name it that way. Also SMS Adolf Hitler.
