FDev doesn't care about you, players. It only cares about money. Here's why

What an utterly unimaginative post from the OP.... I yawned... repeatedly I'm afraid... Same old rehashed ill-founded nonsense from someone who's got no idea about the reality of what does go on....

In all fairness it's a pretty buggy update but then again it's a massive update so you'd always expect some problems to show up when you increase the numbers of people able to get in game in the new version... all those myriad PC setups and configs and gameplay styles to contend with.... It's a short term problem, things will get fixed... accept that, show some patience and you will be rewarded....

But as I said, the numbers seem good .. We can't expect a massive influx of players at the near end of this season model .. which is probably why FD are changing the model (In my view, to a once a year expansion)

like I said, what about the change over last year's expansion? that is the key number for the game's health, not currently active users alone. EVE has something like 30k users on but that's considered somewhere around a 33% drop versus where it was at 5 years before

and this is the first couple of years of life for a game that has very little real competition, this is absolutely the one environment where you can expect a massive influx if your decisions are actually customer-centric. we should be seeing well over 5% growth since the last expansion given that Horizons was a year ago

I believe that 3.0 (whenever it comes) will be the real marker for the growth of the game, whatever in entails.

yes that is a pun but we need numbers on this game's growth before we can say "everything's cool"

We need numbers to speculate either way. Personally I was, as the customer, planning to play the game, and leave the volume price and positioning and feature set to FD as they have the numbers, and I sort of thnk worrying and forecasting based on numbers is a supplier side function, and playing the game is a consumer side function.

that's great, but we need numbers. if you say "I believe we're doing well and will do well" at a shareholder meeting you're leaving the office via howitzer

Doesn't bug me at all, you are entitled to your opinion. I have no issue with that.

"I'm making a post about how I don't have anything to post about"???

okay so to have actual content - what is some stuff that you all would like to see added to existing features like PvE, trading, or exploration that could attract new customers or bring people that got bored back

You may have quoted the wrong post of mine. But..

Space legs! (I know, controversial) .. But looking at the released art work and some recent comments I think that this feature has been worked on for a while now .. Just ships, stations and outposts but this could bring in a good few players (if done well) .. and the possible future of atmos planets and what that could bring is fascinating.

there is a lot to explore .. For me ED has done what it set out to do, which was make a modern version of Elite '84 mixed in with the realistic galaxy of FE2 and FFE .. now it's a waiting game to see if FD can deliver on the "Furniture" for the house they built.

I am looking forward to seeing if they can do that, and if not .. i have truly had my money's worth .. no game has been installed on my computer as long as ED.

Oh!Here we go again. Another one of those.
