Agree 100%. Technical errors abound and one of the dumbest moves made by someone with a functioning brain (trusting SDC and HP, I'll never not find that funny) easily prevent that from reaching EVE's event status.

Agree 100%. Technical errors abound and one of the dumbest moves made by someone with a functioning brain (trusting SDC and HP, I'll never not find that funny) easily prevent that from reaching EVE's event status.
I find it hard to believe that even some of the less intellectually-gifted folks in CoR could be so stupid as to let that happen. Unless they wanted her to die and were expecting it, so they could have a true martyr. In which case Potter and gang have played right into CoRs hands.

Just thought I'd pop by and say, thanks Drew and Frontier for the biggest laugh in ages. Everyone get's to hate a certain player and player group, who love to be the bogey men. Drew gets a nice, dramatic, poignant and heroic ending for a major character in his book, Frontier will get some column inches in the gaming press and steal some of Eve's 'political storytelling' thunder. Win all round I reckon. Nice, unscripted, player-led event.
Well said! Drew gets my respect and admiration for undertaking such a risky endeavour, with the known limitations of the game.
Truth is stranger than fiction in this case: an ending brimming with drama, betrayal, tragedy and salt.
Tried to appeal to the anti-martyr rationale and it fell on deaf ears.
That makes some sense. But who was guarding the guards? Or did they just write her off to get a martyr for the cult?
She was the HVT, but probably the least important out of the four as far as info goes. I'll miss her. though.
Yeah, this was what was really annoying about the PAC plan. Many people knew that a killer would be hiding in the ranks. In fact, I knew that SDC were in in PAC, and being trusted, and in fact HP was amongst those deciding who could and couldn't be trusted with guns...
I think I'm done for the evening, but it was nice to get to meet Harley Quinn in Teorge... until there were some connection issues, and I couldn't communicate.
Yes, its as if their strategy were written by SDC.
But I think it was blinding hubris, not stupidity, that was PACs downfall. They brought in known thugs, trusted them. They became authoritarian, even overstepping the bounds of authority within the Systems they would traverse by demanding no pilots carry weapons in the region - pilots in many cases just going about their business. They thought they were in control of everyone, including themselves.
Sad thing is for Salome is she never repudiated PAC's kill-on-sight of innocents strategy. She should go down in history as the terrorist some claimed she was.
I bet Drew isn't too disappointed though, a lot of good material here.

So, All the Listening Posts say, if anything, is that Rebecca was one of the "Higher Ups" who were trying to hide things. That explains her involvement with the Rift and the Zurara.
However, What about the FSDs that Raan knew about/stolen? Or was that merely a plot device to explain his long range jumping during the event?
What is the "Curious Transmission Partially Decoded" in Tionisla talking about? Where is the orbital graveyard, and what does the message mean? Isn't this talking about Rebecca's Cobra that originally led to the R.R. Line?
