I had to ponder that one for a few moments... Then it hit me in the face.
Phrasing.
Thought I'd share a couple of NPC ship names I saw recently.

Apparently it's OK for NPCs.

No...just no.

I'm lost on what the censor would get in that second pic.
It might, but it could also be a Hitchhiker's Guide reference. Also, I think some of the NPC ship names might be generated from pseudo-random combinations of two words. I've definitely seen the same adjective used as a prefix on many different ships, sometimes in the same system, and the same noun used with a different (or sometimes no) prefix. That name could be one such construction. The words are fine (though whoever thought of it still changed the spelling of the second word), the combination has unsavoury connotations.
They'll come. As soon as everyone who really wanted plain nameplates has compromised with Practical or one of the other sets, and the sales have started to tail off, the flag for fully unadorned nameplate availability will be switched on. FD are masters at this. Also, while we're on the subject of NPC plates and names, I'm a little salty about the above. I want those kinds of nameplates for my ship.![]()
Not sure what point you are trying to slowly work your way to, but parents have a responsibility.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with not wanting your kid being exposed to profanities and offensive words.
