Wow nice conda range, what's your FSD bonus?
55.3% best I got after 200 rolls....

That Diamondback Explorer jump range is unbelievable! [woah]
Is that with a full explorer loadout? (Even with a completely stripped layout I can't hit 60LY and that is with a 54.5% FSD roll and lightened components).
Can you link to your build with engineering mods by any chance ?
It's completely stripped to get that range.
lvl 5 FSD 55.2%
lvl 4 LS 69.8%
lvl 5 SEN 79.3%
Fully fitted for exploration, shields, single SRV, ADS, DSS, and mining laser, she gets 58.70 (60.85)
Ship: Anaconda
CMDR Name: Alexbrentnall

Jump Range (Full Tank): 70.20ly
Jump Range (Max): 70.59ly
1000 ly trip jumps (approx): 16/17 in the bubble

Pretty much same as last time post #292 but with lightweight sensors

Edit: Looked at this and considered starting a challenge to be the #1 with a 56.00% roll and the +4.5% fuel use per jump. Doing the math one thing I realise is how close Alitnil is to the absolute optimal.
With a perfect 56% roll and a +4.5% fuel per jump boost with only 32% increase to mass you get 64.22ly max. Adding perfect 80% rolls to the life support and sensors that pushes it to an absolute cap of 71.85Ly but that opens the 4D engine grade and that 4 tons of weight lost means the theoretical max cap is 72.45ly (according to Coriolis).
Alitnil is on 71.20Ly. Thats only a 1.2ly difference. Literally just adding the +4.5% fuel use per jump that my roll has puts him at 72.39Ly, only a sniff away from the theoretical max.
That is insane and I commend you, not even going to try for that FSD god-roll because frankly you are close enough to the max to have it for all intents and purposes..![]()
Is 56% really the optimum roll for a 5D FSD? I have a 2D FSD that has an optimized mass of 57.2%, but maybe I got it because the FSD is smaller:

Was dang happy to get the DBX to 53.75ly jump range.
Hey who has the biggest jumping sidewinder?
So finally got around to updating my Sidewinder and Hauler for 2.3:
CMDR Name: Marlon Blake
Ship: Sidewinder
Ship Name: Leviathan
Jump Range (Max): 38.20
Jump Range (Full Tank): 36.61
Loadout link: https://eddp.co/u/SK35iQTj
Other notes: The optimized mass on the FSD is 57.2%.

As mentioned before the purpose behind this engineering is so I can see the galaxy in a luxury Sidewinder. My exploration build now gives me 27.23ly - 28.10ly for a sidey equipped with an SRV and a well engineered DSS.
Other notes: The optimized mass on the FSD is 57.2%.
Shame it's on a 2A instead of a more universal 4A but still great for a speedy Sidey.
