I'm messing, I love you man, you know that :p I'm not bothered by people having different opinions, in fact I encourage that.

About Drew, you have no Idea how much stuff people are sending in to my inbox, honestly it's getting weirder and weirder, I just received a bunch of stuff like somebody dug up web archives from google of some interesting stuff Drew posted regarding player numbers, and then deleted on his blog. Furthermore I received something even more ominous, apparently there is a bug in ED, which allows players to exploit a multicrew bug and simultaneously de-wing all wings in an instance upon joining it, which corellates with some of events that happened on Saturday, which may even explain Harrys magical appearance in the same place unopposed with Drew, as this bug was discussed a day before event, and SDC were present on the discussion. Furthermore game statistics show that in fact on 29th, the player count online was one of the lowest that week, which raises the questions of what was happening with the server that night.

I will be investigating that further tomorrow.

Its easy for you guys to tell me to move on, but you don't have my inbox, and don't see the stuff I see. I have already dismissed so much stuff that I didn't even mention in my videos :p

I'm trying to be both fair and cover as much as I can, at this point I'm even considering if I should get a helping hand to help me get through the heap while still staying objective, which is hard when you have 50 things hinting one way or another to foul play, while people are telling you to drop it and others encouraging to keep going.

To say that I'm torn right now in 50 different directions would be generous :p

I don't know, maybe I should make a megathread in which I just post all the stuff people send me and dust off my hands, but then again my videos have a bigger reach, and people appreciate to learn about stuff they didn't know before.

Hmmm, what would you do Jason?

I could use a friends advise right now

In your position I would ride the anti-SDC train for all it's worth; you can't really go wrong with baiting those guys, such as you did Harry on the comments section of your video last night. Your audience who will never get the courage ingame to face these guys on any terms outside of a comments section will eat it up. I say that as a friend of Harry's even. He's on my friend's list ingame and I happily pimp out his location and ship loadout literally every chance I get (teehee!) when interested CMDR's ask me. On Drew, as I've said earlier, this will only tarnish your brand in the long term to go after him personally. Ingame conspiracy theories are fun until they become personal, which this one has. My advice is to look for ways to make the conspiracy fun, and don't lose sight of the fact that this is just a game we're all playing, and that Drew did not mean to hurt anybody, or put anybody out, even if some of the evidence suggests that he knew Salome' was "doomed" all along; so he allowed her to fall prey to the bad guys....big deal. It's a game. It's a story. Lot's of us had fun with it and aren't upset by the "gameyness" of the outcome.

woo-sah:)

Well with Todays Galnet post we and the Xbox users just got kicked in our faces. Community gets totaly ignored.

What was the post? I missed it :p

Lol at the listening post lie :D

But one thing I find interesting with this post. There is no mention of the pod destruction. In Elite Dangerous lore (people posted but i dont remember where) evidence showing different death reports of different characters on this Galnet style showing, that only reports that mentioned pod destruction were perma-deaths, while the ones that didnt - had the characters come back, Kahina Loren herself being one of them previously.

Also the fact that Rinzler seemingly for no reason put quotes on "Salome" in a rando salty message on my yt video.

:D .... Someone please comment, I don't want to

You call it apophenia, I call it the scientific method. I prefer testing and eliminating possibilities by myself, rather than drinking the koolaid :)

I learned it from my hero Neil deGrasse Tyson, and am not ashamed of my critical faculties, Sir :)

I don't know at what point drinking koolaid became a bad thing, but I remember the drink was quite delightful when I was growing up, especially on a hot summer day.

History has always been my worst subject. I always just took it as 'don't always believe what you hear' because of the context its used in, but that's a doozy behind it.

It's more severe than that, it means "to blindly follow without questioning".

Google Jonestown massacre, that is the origin for the phrase, however don't if you do not want to get super sad for the rest of the day

I already did, that's why I said there's a doozy behind it. Probably not fair to give koolaid such a bad name. :p

So Yuri accepted the idea that the pod could be Salome, however, it also seems like he accepted that Salome was dead. That's implied by the idea that identity needs to be verified. If she was alive, the identity would be rather obvious. That, or it was an in game way of saying "I need to run this by Drew to confirm if this is a thing." Given that it's been verified by Drew and a Gal-Net article that she died, we can only assume that the pod wasn't her or it was her, but she was still dead.

(Or what happens on Xbox stays on Xbox, but that's not nice is it)

Sooo...all my Xbox mates could hold the key to yet another conspiracy theory [haha]

I've got quite a few of those present in the vid on my Xbox friends list... *fires up Xbox app*

I have to say that the Xbox community were rather gutted by Drew's announcement after the reported death of Ms Salamalamadingdong, that the fact Yuri and the others who survived made no difference in the slightest as Salami had the only important information and therefore thus ended the storyline.

As you can imagine, the backlash on the Xbox forum rivaled the incredulity on here as this information from the horses mouth suggested that the efforts of the entire Xbox community that took part was relegated to being merely a sideshow to make them simply feel included. They had all...as you lot did, taken their part in the narrative pretty seriously only to be slapped back down to red headed step children status by Drew's statement that it didn't matter if Yuri and the others had survived at all...

Link to thread

Since the initial statement by Drew on his blog and elsewhere confirming this, I've no idea if his narrative or attitude has changed due to the backlash as I lost all interest in following the proceedings after the whole pointless debacle...
