In the case of the Salomé event, I would say building the ship for a bare minimum of tankiness so it isn't vaporized straight out the gate. I haven't seen the stats on her ship, but apparently she did last quite a while, so I would presume that was done. In any case, it seemed to me that the good inspector was implying "supership PvP would happen" was some sort of unknown unknown for this event, which was more what I was replying to than any specific build.
And I keep trying to find the meter in your post. It's maddening.

We still haven't had definitive proof that the pod was even from Salome' s ship, or if it bore any connection to the story.
Because there is no proof . I agree and fully accept that the event was perhaps subjected to an awful lot of hype. The ethics might be controversial or construed as unfair by some, but acceptable by others. With regard to the outside interference
The SDC and other groups will always find a way to effect community events , it's their stage. It's the way they play their game...who are we to judge . We have choices as do these groups. We all know the dangers of doing community events in open...getting ganked is one thing. Harassment is another, and whilst we are on the subject, you're harassing everybody's opinion if they don't agree with you.
Put up or shut up...show undeniable proof of your accusations without prejudice.

No tinfoil needed, what we have here is semantics. If Drew brings Kahina back later he can argue that Salome was dead from a certain point of view (just like how Obi Wan argues that exact point to Luke about Anakin).
Pretty sure FDev have the ultimate rights over her and any other characters in Reclamation, Drew only wrote the book under licence. Essentially, if FDev had decided to grant another author a licence to write Premonition, they could have done, and they could use her in game as they see fit. I could be wrong on this but I'd imagine, like most companies, they'd want to retain the ultimate rights for things like this.
As to fanfiction, pretty sure that would be covered under fair use as long as people don't sell their unlicenced works.
As to the OP itself, if Yuri was part of this event, wouldn't that mean that the recovery of this pod, whatever it may contain, was also part of the event and, thus, likely to be part of Drew's story (whether in Premonition or another future book by him, if FDev allow him to write a third)?

No offense, MassiveD. You know that I have your back on most issues. I simply feel compelled to step in and register an opinion that goes against yours on this particular issue, an issue that has become somewhat ugly over the last few days. Yes, if I were Drew I'd certainly be telling people where to stick it in unequivocal terms.
At any rate, I hope our friendship is strong enough to withstand a disagreement. I love your channel, watch all your videos and join your streams whenever possible. Plus I've made no secret of how much I've learned from you over the last year. I just respectfully submit that it's time to dial back the rhetoric on Drew.

I'm not bothered by people having different opinions, in fact I encourage that.About Drew, you have no Idea how much stuff people are sending in to my inbox, honestly it's getting weirder and weirder, I just received a bunch of stuff like somebody dug up web archives from google of some interesting stuff Drew posted regarding player numbers, and then deleted on his blog. Furthermore I received something even more ominous, apparently there is a bug in ED, which allows players to exploit a multicrew bug and simultaneously de-wing all wings in a server instance upon joining it, which corellates with some of events that happened on Saturday, which may even explain Harrys magical appearance in the same place unopposed with Drew, as this bug was discussed a day before event, and SDC were present on the discussion. Furthermore game statistics show that in fact on 29th, the player count online was one of the lowest that week, which raises the questions of what was happening with the server that night.
I will be investigating that further tomorrow.
Its easy for you guys to tell me to move on, but you don't have my inbox, and don't see the stuff I see. I have already dismissed so much stuff that I didn't even mention in my videos
I'm trying to be both fair and cover as much as I can, at this point I'm even considering if I should get a helping hand to help me get through the heap while still staying objective, which is hard when you have 50 things hinting one way or another to foul play, while people are telling you to drop it and others encouraging to keep going.
To say that I'm torn right now in 50 different directions would be an understatement
