Quince is even more broken than we tought

What about the players that only play the game for the mystery? I used quince to get the cutter. and all I use it for is finding thargoids. If it was not for the mystery id of left ED along time ago.

Built-in Sensors is the Radar NOT anything else. Why would you require a Surface Scanner if this Surface Scan job doesn't even require one? Bad design.
Else the Private Data Scan would also NOT need a Scanner, nor the Nav Beacons.
Sell your Basic Scanner and try this out.
What is the whole point of Ship Building...

He's saying that you need to identify the location of the mission area first. Which you can do by passive scanning the Nav Beacon. Unless of course, you've found a way to not even need to locate them first, which means that's a bug, because they intend for you to either ADS or Nav Beacon scan.

The important question for me is, do those missions give cracked industrial firmware? If not, I don't care. I have a pimped Cutter, don't need to make 70m/hr. :)

No CIF,only security firmware....bunch of commodities rewards,we dont need anyways...

I wish I was being facetious. You've been here nearly as long as I have. Have you not seen the massive threadnoughts and multiple posts about exploiting this or that every time some new money making loophole is found?

Seeking Goods traders and the cargo glitch absolutely needed to be fixed. The rest of the so called exploits should have been left alone.

I don't disagree that FD's efforts to fix a lot of the exploits often seemed to shift things in negative directions, I just disagree that they did it because people either complained and/or bragged on the forums. Yeah, we are all glorified game testers on this thing (and thus our "reports" are used by FD), but there are plenty of things people have cried about on these forums that are still around and have never been addressed at all. I put the blame squarely on the shoulders of FD - if they couldn't find a balance, like you said, they should have just left it alone until they came up with a way to tweak things on a more granular scale.

Well the data points at surfaces spawn them, and there is 20 of them at same place if you use this thing. So you have location that will 100% have cif spawn change and there is 20 of these (or what ever amount of missions you have) to scan in same places. So you don't get Cif on every run, but as far i know this is the best way to get cifs. Before 2.3 dropped i used this to get 100+ cifs, so haven't tested it in 2.3. But with 2.3 they didn't fix the actual issue that caused scan exploit in 2.2 and cause this exploit/thing pointed in this thread.

I told you frontier if you try do cheap, cut edges and do take the lazy way the issue won't be fixed. As long as they refuse to fix the issues/system that cause these issues they can't remove them from elite. They have tried to fix this kind of issues with mission system for 2.5 years now, how much work they would have saved if they had done it properly back then.

Its easy, boring, repetative, but not broken.

Anyone who states otherwise is trying to play the game for you. They are telling you that the way they play the game is right and the way you play the game is wrong.

Any statement about state of the game issues that making money causes is a self deluded fantasy. At best this is nothing more than a "Hey Look at me" Thread. At worst its just someone trying to make the game harder for others after they fully exploited the mission type to their hearts content. Hypocrites dont make good role models. Ceos Sothis and Robbigo all ruined due to adult children crying wolf has now made missions completed within the bubble a complete waste of time.

Either way this thread has no purpose and should be done.

I wouldn't be surprised if these exploits are intentional, most people like the idea of quick cash, keeps things interesting.

Stolen biowaste > 70mill/h

This is getting exciting!!!

Fdev ships and Salty ships are massing on Quince to shut the goldmine down!

We are going to war! Open Play immersive EVENT!!!!!

This is the backside of every easy money. Everyone flocks to it and there will be conflict.

I am not Spartacus, and I don't lose any sleep over not participating in taking advantage of unfortunate gameplay elements that make little to no sense within the context of the game universe and my character role within it. If other people want to subject themselves to that kind of gameplay, that's mostly their problem to deal with, though Frontier, understandably, might be interested in delivering an overall higher quality gaming experience.

I avoided going to Quence since I first heard about it, but gave in after hearing about the "nerfing."

I didn't make much from the passenger missions, and the planetary scan missions did pay quite a bit, but I really made bank with the massacare missions.

I made about a hundred mil CR, but I killed about 150 ships in CZs to do it and had fun in the process.

I made enough to buy an Anaconda, and sold my Python for $175mil to pay for upgrades, and had enough left over to cover a few rebuys.

The rebuy is getting near $20mil cr, so I just landed back in Quence to fill the coffers so that I can get on with my objectives without having to worry about rebuy costs.

I am failing to see what all the fuss is about. There is a gold rush of sorts in an isolated system, and commanders should cash in before the doors close.

Last time I was there I didn't care one bit if I left it in OPEN and there was an NPC sitting on the pad being shot at continuously by the Station. I got by and when I returned it was still being shot at! I thought it best I switched Modes again to be safe. Upon cycling yet again via OPEN the same NPC was still there being shot!!!

Pretty sure it isn't an exploit though. Frontier deliberately changed it to 3 missions per faction. Balance is another thing completely.

Yer what ever you want to call it is fine by me.
Ill just go by definitions and report when it seems needed.
