1. Quince fast cash - a arguably broken game mechanic.
2. Quince is a high security system but everyone knows cops are ineffective - another broken game mechanic.
3. Commit murder in one solar system, police will not hunt you down outside that solar system - another broken game mechanic.
4. A bounty only lasts 7 days? Another broken game mechanic.
I guess it's ok to exploit 2, 3, and 4 in order to raise awareness about #1.
Really, truly, outside of poking the anti-exploiters with a stick, I do understand the anti-exploiters' position regarding Quince. I used it and made a fair amount of money in a couple days, though like someone else mentioned, I had to grind up influence to start getting some missions there to make it profitable. And the way the missions complete themselves is bugged, possibly on purpose. Possibly, not.
Once Frontier has our money , it's game over. There is no contract or covenant with Frontier that I have agreed to enjoy the game in a slow paced way. I don't worship it.
And it's also not my crusade to nerf Quince because the regular ways to earn money are a slow grind. Some players are willing to work 6 to 9 months for a large ship, others are put off by that. And saying 'Well, there's other ways to enjoy the game besides earning money" doesn't really accomplish anything. Maybe for you that is true. Other people just want an Anaconda NOW.
