Yep... Just like you said there are not a hint of logics in this, there is absolutely no sense on it. Except if you apply time travel to the equation. Am i need to continue this tough or you got what i meant? :)

if god exist outside of the linear time, so once he came the existence he always was? Or can travel back before the time of his birth? And all mightiness covers this kind of powers right?

Hey, I'm not misrepresenting anything. I don't have a chicken in this race (snort). I think everyone gets what you meant, I was just putting on my editor cap for a moment. I have to deal with the sapience/sentience thing in SF books I edit a fair bit. ;) Slowly but surely I WILL get people to use the right word ;)

I think sloths are intelligent too.

Well? they are definitely more intelligent than some of the talking monkeys.
Think it ower! Humankind is the kind of creature whom capable to think over 1000's of years on questions like; Why what we seek is always in the last place?
DO'H! Maybe because once you found it you don't have to search it?
And humankind called intelligent? [weird][rolleyes] With this level of mental (in)capacity?

Yeah, "wise man" (homo sapiens) we are not. "Storytelling ape" (pan narrans) is more accurate (thanks for that, Terry Pratchett & company ;) )

my understanding of "devils advocate" is this : Devil's advocate definition, a person who advocates an opposing or unpopular cause for the sake of argument or to expose it to a thorough examination.

Ah I was only discussing the origins of life on earth.....bring the whole universe into and...what exactly IS the Universe?

Good questions......thing is seeing as mans current knowledge of the universe is the equivalent of a single celled amoebas take on brain surgery then we'll never know the answers in our lifetimes. Sadly the only thing pretty much spot on is the fact that religions are hokum.

But Humanity has long started Challenging Gods Domain :p

We will See how long it takes before Humanity is able to Reproduce Life from Dead Matter. And thus also become enabled to explain just how Life god Seeded on Earth.


Moreover. We might actually gain some noteworthy hints from it as to where in the Universe we should Expect Life of some sort as well :)
After all if we can recreate the Conditions and thus know whats needed. We can also start looking for places where these Conditions exist. Thus getting an Idea on where to look for other Life in this Galaxy :p

In most cases this meant witch hunt right? It's not just unpopularity, but the most absurd accusations.

About the universe? Errm... :Let's adjourn that for a while. :)

Nah it means I can put forward an argument even if I disagree with it to form a discussion and make people think outside of the box, causes me no end of troubles online let me tell you. I've been called a left wing loony and a right wing nutjob (not at the same time though)
