Proposal Discussion Careful Drivers/flyers Please

Now I know i'll probably get slated for this, but here goes, WHY OH WHY do some players fly like idiots, there i am in my Lakon Type 3 Heavy trying to gently ease my way through to space station entrance (just bought it), when BAM some idiot slams into me and sends me spinning in all directionsand taking lots of damage. Now I know some of you are experts in this, but some of us are'nt, SO PLEASE GIVE US TO CHANCE TO LEARN THE GAME, espesially when weve just bought our new ship which takes getting used to.
This has happened loads of times now, i'm beginning to think some flyers are doing this for a laugh giving me a little nudge now and then cos i'm holding you up. By the way I fly through alot faster now so maybe I won't hold you up quite as much.
Sorry if I have affended anyone. Happy playing ED.

This is the result of pilots who: a) Don't know how to fly in a straight line, never mind avoid another ship. b) Don't care if they hit you or not because they have their shields at max and they will recharge for free so why bother. c) Are doing it deliberately to perfect the tactic for future combat. d) just do it to annoy you.

Mandatory "L" plates for new pilots? :p

Whatever next a flight test before you're allowed to go off solo in your first sidewinder?

Just bought my first Lakon today to see what the trading potential was. First dock at the destination station I see a sidewinder decide to squeeze out under me (yep that's correct - not to the left or right but under me).

Shields to max and I barely scrape the shields, but once I turn around there's a damage sidey in the entrance spinning away with 13% hull  Too late do I realise they're wanted before they force quit. Pretty much self inflicted there.

Must admit that I haven't had any trouble since. I let others through if they're already moving towards the entrance, and have seen others wait while I've exited/docked (thanks!).

e) experience no real world consequence of flying like that so they do it

f) are impatient

g) are so scared at landing they get tunnel vision
