I love Elite.

I love Elite, too. I kind of had a feeling when I first started playing that this would be a game I wanted to invest many hours into playing, but I had no idea until I got so far out into the black that a simple jump wouldn't get me home. The utter vastness of space chose that moment to dawn on me, and I knew I had found a game that didn't ever need to end if I didn't want it to.

Just this. (As a little beacon in the darkness)

I do, too.

I got really angry over something I view as a flaw in the game recently. Almost quit over it. And one of my friends said, "Would you really care that much about that little thing if you didn't love the game?"

And I thought about it and I realized they were right. That the little thing wouldn't bother me nearly so much if it wasn't such a great game to begin with.

And so I got over the little thing and got back to the game I love. It doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see the little thing changed, but... I can live with it. Because, on the whole, I love this game.

I have to admit, that i was a little disappointed about the livestream yesterday, but when you realize, that E3 officially started today and not yesterday, disappointment dissolved fast. Looking forward to the stream tonight and i guess, there will be a lot of things to love this game even more!

See you in the void, CMDRs! o7

25 weeks in game time, Wife also plays. Son plays on Xbox, part of a huge community, psyched for Lavecon We have cancelled SKY Tv as we don't watch it anymore, love doing things for our community and chatting to like minded people who love a good video "Game" (Apparently it is a game and RL just gets in the way)
Awesome fellow commanders in Canonn and can't get enough, addicted, maybe but better than Coronation Street ! (Ducks from the brick throwing Corrie lovers) ;-)
.
Yep i agree OP, WE Love Elite [heart][yesnod]

Thanks to Frontier and FDev. All the little improvements and changes gradually in the game in the past months. Things like the galaxy map ship markers now telling you what owned ships are at a system. Or when jumping to a nearby system, more info telling you special states of the system such as boom state, or letting you know if what you're carrying is illegal there. Little things appreciated. I'm hyped with the 2.4 announcement and look forward to the havoc and turmoil from the Thargoids and the mystery of their very different tech evolution. And of course spacelegs and atmospheric planets and metro cities will come with patience in the years ahead.

With so much negativity on this forum, this thread needs a sticky! I also love this game.

Luckily (and to my surprise) most of the time this thread manages on ist own to emerge from the depths of the forum - just when the negatvity levels are reaching new peaks.:D People seem to remember. (ok I admit this week I was bumping it one time [noob] as I just could not believe the uneductated stuff being thrown at Ed and the FD Team.)
