New Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS One!

Well color me excited.

Already thinking how I'll build my joy stick set up for my recliner

I do exactly that for playing Star Citizen (am I allowed to mention that game here?)

I have a board basically, with the joystick on the right, throttle on the left and keyboard/mouse in the middle. It rests on the armrests of the recliner. It's actually a shelf from Ikea and is just the right size. The hotas itself has holes for mounting it which is perfect.

Ach...in a couple of months everyone will have an Xbox 'Harry Potter' cupboard with a home made desk for the HOTAS, keyboard and mouse just like my PC setup and wonder what happened to days lounging on the sofa playing games...to be honest, there's nowt like having your own man cave where you don't have to fight over the telly [yesnod]

I did the PC gaming for a long time, I so far really prefer console which I know seems odd.
Just way less messing around. I can plonk my down. Cold beer in hand and 9 times out of 10. Everything works

you might not need the rudder pedals, the ps4 version (at least the one pictured on amazon) seems to have the yaw input available on the rear side of the throttle like my old saitek x45 has which is awesome as i hate stick twist yaw

It looks like they have both yaw options. The one on the throttle looks like its on the front to me.

Nah. I'll just make a foldable setup for my couch.

The rocker bar on the throttle can be bound to any function...yaw, thrusters...firegroups...whatever. I have a T-Flight as a backup for the PC in case of dire brokenness with the X52. My only complaint is that there's not enough hat switches...the buttons can be double function with a 'shift' button, similar to the context mapping on a controller (Holding X + R Dpad etc). Once you get used to the twist yaw, it's the far better option and more natural...

Apart from the lack of hats...it's a top notch HOTAS [up]

cool, twist yaw is the devil btw..

I seriously wish my X52 had a rocker bar...left and right thrusters for strafe runs [yesnod]

I've got a hat switch on the throttle where that rocker is on the T-flight that I use for thrusters... Unlike the T-flight though, I can lock the twist yaw on the stick on the X52 if I want to use pedals...T-flight you can't.

Still got my x45 wrapped away securely incase i ever go back to pc gaming, has rotarty dials and everything, not that many games let me use it also has 4 hat switches (one you can map as a mouse) 3 mode switches 3 auxiliary settings for each mode and a pinkie switch shift at the bottom of the flight stick, no led display so you have to have a good memory for all the modes and aux settings

Still one of the best sticks...like ever. Bought one when Microsoft refused to convert the old Sidey 2 to USB...had it for donkeys too.
