Title says it all.
Yaw for me, roll is assigned to my "A" and "D" keys.
This was the first thing I rebound when I first started Elite Dangerous. Roll on A/D is so much better for me. Maintains parity with FPS games where you're using the mouse to look around, rather than leaning around corners![]()
.I have Roll on mouse X-axis, yaw on A&D. That's how I learned it, that's how I'm keeping it.
You didn't rebind "Eject all cargo" first?

Roll and pitch on mouse.
Maybe it comes from that being what the stick does on all RL aircraft? The point made above that yaw is such a slow movement in all ED ships (certainly all that I've flown) is a good one.
If you put yaw on the mouse, you'll hardly use it, it's much faster to roll and pitch to align your ship. I'd rather do all that on the mouse.
Edit: I'm frankly amazed that anyone would put yaw on the mouse (effectively putting yaw on joystick x-axis). It's surprising to me to see how many people have. At the very least, having the mouse (or joystick) doing roll+pitch make flying in ED feel far more like flying real aircraft.
You hardly need roll in combat.
How do you match the spin of a Coriolis (when approaching the toast rack) if roll was bound to your keyboard?
