FDev, you just upset a *lot* of people.

I did around 300 exploited rolls and never accepted them, because they was worst than i got. I lost all thrusters on all ships.
I did to see how it is working jhust after 13'th revelated.

i will roll them again in month.

However i am happy FDev did that action
, exploiters got stocked, and has been done what should be done since the beginning.

Congrats to FDev!

I have hope they will remove relogged ranks and credits in quince/robigo/ceos.

What about the many dozens of exploits before that? What about the ones during launch 2 years ago where people went from broke to 20 billion in the bank in 2 weeks? Or the sitting in one station taking slave missions and then selling the slaves? Billionares a plenty. Perhaps the Billionares that made money with Rare goods with a timer log exploit? What about the Draconis skimmer missions?

You actually named 3 of the only mission issues that were not actually exploits due to bad code. You missed the real ones.

But I am glad as well that they have put an end to the cheating. Now if they can only find everyone who has that 1%hull script running. The one that makes it so they can never get taken below 1%

Once they can fix network disconnects at their end, and can prevent a player causing another to "combat log" using firewall rules. Once they can identify a forced disconnect at the customer pc versus for instance, an ISP fault or a power fault. Once they can offer a solution for those with children, pets or front doors... Then I'll say fine, let's do it.
Until then, there will be far to many false positives. It's not like an obvious exploit such as the rngineers one being discussed.
Of course, you may have a way to prove all these. If so, I'm sure FDev are hiring.

Why are people so keen to recruit for FDev? Have you seen their glassdoor page? I have. I'm not interested, but thanks anyway.

[haha] Even Zarek Null is ripping the peas out of SDC over on Reddit & not getting put to the sword as is usually the case.

It would appear Frontier have kicked the err stuffing, out of those dudes - what is this strange feeling I have?...

*checks google*

... oh, it's apparently something called 'sympathy' [blah]

I wish they'd wipe mine. I only got one to try engineers out and it reduces performance. When I transferred an A rated FSD module to Colonia, guess which one I transferred!!!

Most SDC members are saying they'll quite until 'FD fixes the game'. :p Turns out the 'just work hard and git gud like us' folks really are as pathetic as they seemed. Its particularly cool to see how they cant even fathom flying with a non-godrolled G5 engine. The difference between a great 30% and a cheated 37% in a fdl with 2pips to engine? 19m/s and 3degrees per second pitch. Nothing actual 'git gud skill' cant compensate for.

Well, hasta la pasta to them. :)

You are forgetting the shield boosters, weapons, shields, hull, hrps and SCBs

And I thought that a god-roll DDT5 has 42% - but I could be mistaken the best I've seen is 35% bonus on a DDT5 🤔

Pardon my ignorance but from what I gathered reading some posts randomly, the cheat seems to be related to rolls? I would imagine rolls that you do at an engineer? What is the cheat? And how did cheaters benefited from it?

If the roll was interrupted you could fool the game into giving you a level 5 roll (very hard to find materials) using the level 1 materials, which are abundant. So many hundreds of rolls became much easier, allowing the maximisation of modifications. The trick was in the roll interruption.

Can't say certain SDC individuals will be missed if they do quit, not by many at least. Same re a few individuals from one or two other groups too. Can't say I have sympathy for some of these individuals given the great delight they've taken delivering their so-called emergent gameplay and flaunting it here and elsewhere - and I find it ironic that presumably some have likely seen fit to resort to cheats in order to deliver that content, or so it seems. Now they've been caught out, punished and want to quit? Sometimes karma is a good thing.....wait a minute, is this what Frontier always intended as part of the proposed karma system?

We should bear in mind that if the cheats try to stay they'll never be satisfied with legit modules they'll keep grinding at one more roll to try to get back what they've lost, hopefully till they burn out and leave.

Good riddance.

Very strange day indeed. I gave reps to people I usually fight on forums, but their reaction to all this showed their unexpected side. This just might be one of the finest days of this game. Some sort of justice and resolution of FD came through.

I shall seriously damage the first person to call for a group hug.

"In recent days potentially hundreds of PVP pro bros have had their exploited modules removed from them by an unforgiving developer in a tough galaxy. These poor commanders cannot seem to cope in a cutthroat galaxy without having more powerful shields and weapons than everyone else, can you help? Please all you need to do is contact one of these poor souls via Reddit or Discord and arrange to meet them in game, maybe you could drop some materials for them, watch their six as they mine in a now, dangerous RES or maybe you could just donate credits in one form or another. Please, if you care and can help please contact us by texting 'I WASN'T EVER GUD' to 64588 or call 0800 MYMODULES.

Thank you."

They should do the same what they did now. Remove cash, remove ranks or ban accounts.
