I'm gonna need a new telly at some point in the not too distant future. Bought this one off one of the last blokes I share housed with 7 years ago. It's nice and big, but it was already old when I bought it. During the mild (by world standards) queensland winters it doubles as a fine heater. During the qld summers it turns the room into a sweat box.
I ended up getting the PS4 slim sometime back.. so there is no point buying the Pro, but I wont say that I am not tempted, Heh I spent all my money on a LG 62" 3D HDTV... so at least i know I can see the screen, us old guys sight is not all that good

would love a pro, but without a 4ktv and that amount of money mid-cycle, its to much to ask, the funny thing is I have 400 quid sitting for psvr having tried it several times now I'm still not sure its worth it, great expierence but again slightly heavy on the wallet.

I don't know how FDev was allowed to get their game played in the U.S.A. I've done some checking and there are several areas that are not ADA compliant.
Darn, I missed this by a couple of hours. Now I will NEVER be able to buy a Pro, EVER. My life is ruined. I'm stuck playing ED on my miserable PS4 Slim. Woe and misery and sackcloth and ashes and moldy Irish potatoes!
It's kinda funny how the same people who bemoan the "PC Master Race" are now becoming the "PS4 Pro Master Race". You all do know that you can get even BETTER framerates, LODs, resolutions, and the like by spending just a little more $$ for a gaming PC, right? I'm half-tempted to invite some PC gamers over here to give you Pro-pushers a taste of your own medicine.

That's what I find funny about people buying PS4 Pro (if they already own PS4) and some fairly expensive 4K TVs. If I had that kind of cash to throw at ED, I'd invest it in a PC with VR.

The only worth would be for 4K and it's not supported for launch.
Ok, I am not a tech, nor have I ever played one on tv. But, if 4 doesn't work until launch and it hasn't been launched as of yet, why was everyone going oooooo and aaahhhh for when viewing the stream a couple of days ago.
