Thanks for the update Brett! :)
Star Trek / ED crossover confirmed!

Not my fault! :p
Must be TJ again. :D

Thank you for fixing the 'roid spawn death issue. And thanks for helping me out when I lost all my bounties and my 'conda logging in! The only bad thing: my poor NPC pilot was still lost along with accumulated XP. Not asking for a fix, already leveled another one- but I have to say that NPC permadeth kinda stinks! Also can't wait for 'conda cockpit fixes, I hope that includes making it look less like a bowling alley and reducing light levels some. We'll see!

Is it me or did you (Brett) ignore the EFC Exquisite Focus Crystal questions on purpose?

I found two missions offering EFCs on the weekend. I succeeded in one, and got two (TWO!) crystals. I utterly failed in the most pathetic way when trying to complete the other mission... so missed out on one more. Just had to get that off my chest.

They are indeed... very rare.

Operation Real Life now concluded. You may press the Big Red Button. Hello? Hellooooooo....?

Damn! OK, I'll go do the washing up.

i've found a rather relaxing method to find these and also Biotechs

- Find a system with several station in it with different economies, and a rather large number of faction (mine was in Famine state, but it doesn't matter i guess)
- Do missions for the controlling faction, preferably the less time consuming ones (aka no mining). If you respected the former point there should be several mission sending you just to the neighboring stations.
- Your local rep will rise, and apparently, this makes rare materials rewards missions spawn more often even for (non controlling) factions you are still neutral with. So check out ALL missions.

Remember: it has been stated that for materials, the "geography" doesn't matter, neither do the economy. The important thing is the mission rank (Deadly / Elite)

You can also find cracked industrial firmware this way.

  • Imperial Courier
Fixed an issue with the Imperial Courier's Slipstream paint job

It was making players invisible.

I think her question was "where is this Courier paint job? And how do I get it?"

And if it wasn't it's my question and has been since I saw that reference to it on the beta forums. So for the third time:

WHAT IS THE IMPERIAL COURIER SLIPSTREAM PAINTJOB AND HOW IS IT OBTAINABLE?

The only Courier paints I've ever seen are the vibrant, military and tactical packs, plus the black Friday one.

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

Just look at it as a little spoiler of whats to come.

High grade USS

I really think that if you are able to go somewhere and spawn only high grade USS's, then you are very very lucky.

The thing that I noticed is that at 8k from the star your moving quite fast and as you travel you will encounter more USS's than closer into the stars gravity well. But I only found a high chance of encountering "high grade" USS's in systems with a very high population. Use the galaxy map to find systems with the largest populations, navigate about 8k or so out to increase USS generation time and then get the star over the top left of your navigation panel, right in your screens corner, and you should travel around it like a toy on a string being swung around the star as it will be directly to your left.
