network tweaks... mission board optimisations...

i've hardly played at all over the past few months for exactly these reasons (though i hold little hope that FD's network tweaks can cure a bad cable between Perth in Aus and the UK) so i'll give it one more go. fingers crossed.

---> wow. i managed to get into the mission board a few times without an error. AND i could change ships too, i've been stuck in an Orca for a couple of weeks because the shipyard kept on timing out. tonight i will try an actual flight.

-------> logged in. opened mission board. timed out with an error. quit to desktop.

I logged in today but I can watch it connect then disconnect repeatedly didn't do this before? northern NSW Australia.

Thank you for fixing the 'roid spawn death issue. And thanks for helping me out when I lost all my bounties and my 'conda logging in! The only bad thing: my poor NPC pilot was still lost along with accumulated XP. Not asking for a fix, already leveled another one- but I have to say that NPC permadeth kinda stinks! Also can't wait for 'conda cockpit fixes, I hope that includes making it look less like a bowling alley and reducing light levels some. We'll see!

Adjustible light levels would be the "Dog's Bulocks ". Did I use that properly here?

In occasion of the missions, they finally fixed the problem with the issuance of special items in reward for missions such as CIF, Biotech Conductors and the like. If they were previously received as a reward, it is very difficult, but now after installing 2.3.1 they can not be obtained at all. Thus the problem of rare fallout is solved, namely - there are no materials and there are no problems. Congratulations!!!

I don't see it anywhere in patch notes but I noticed last night that cargo scooping in a python worked as intended, I can now ditch my collector drones as I only had them for this reason.

Summat about this my pc doesnt like.
Done th edownload and it's now sitting at Working <1m for the last 20 minutes.

I'm thinking a complete uninstall and re-install would be faster...

You could try 'verify game files' before uninstalling, might be faster.

Just did a surface salvage mission and my SRV cargo showed 32 limpets! I'll get a screenshot and bug-report it if it happens again.

Nice! I loved my Python except for the cargo scoop. perhaps I'll go back and use that one for a bit again.

I seen the same thing. If you get into the srv, it seems like the inventory shows what's in the ship inventory, but if you switch the tabs and go back to inventory it only shows the srv's. I noticed this the other day too.

Not sure if it is related to the latest patch but I've never seen this before. NPCs with the symbol of human players on the scanner. Is it something that can happen in densely "populated" systems or...?
