Watching this nail-biting stuff from work; am I the only one that feels this is about to explode again like right after 2.3.10?
Phenomenal work you all.

We are getting to the point where there is sufficient supporting evidence to say this hypothesis is now proven, but let's not jump to conclusions. More specifically the Thargoid UD does not accept Guardian technology has been proven; which might suggest some antipathy between the races, but it might just indicate one uses Metric threads and the other Imperial

Indeed. Still catching up with the last 18 hours or so of thread so I've probably just missed it, but has anyone tested any of the more esoteric non-Guardian items (AI relics, soontill relics, SAP 8 cores, etc.)?

Okay, so I redid the calculations with the three sets :

set 1 :
157 : 1000
31 :1000
24: 25

set 2 :
18 : 125
31 : 1000
189 : 200

set 3 :
151 : 1000
1 : 25
937 : 1000

Doing the distance calculations :

set1 points to MEL 22 Sector ZU-P C5-1
set2 points to MEL 22 Sector NX-U D2-31
set3 points to MEL 22 Sector NX-U D2-27

The fit is too good to be true, so each of those point to diferent systems ?
am I missing something here ? Have all the transmissions been recorded at the same place ?

If so (and as far as I can tell, this is the case), we have three systems to comb XD

Still availible, if noone is in need im going to sell it ;)

Hey there, anyone need a good as new UP?
Im more the "fly around and try to find things" than "fiddlin around with things that eat up my ship" type off guy but i guess some off the "real" scientists here would have a good use for it :)

Edit: Playin on PC

Ps: Sorry for doublepost

Edit: In Game now, if you need the UP send friend request @ "StonedThoughts"

That's *nice* :)

Well Props to Cmdr Malic for discovering, that the UL responds to the Message from the Log i guess. Atleast thats where is saw it first and no one knew about it. So i merely Informed you guys Yesterday :)

Keep looking, start with the smallest moon and move up the size.

Lol, we did. Mind you we didn't do full surface scans (not in OC) because... well we're human and don't have that much time as of yet, but damn we've searched this system up and down just like HIP 16378... nothing yet. It's exhausting. Hope we find something. :(

Someone else will need to translate, but here's the image of the UL + UA communicating at Mel 22 sector ZU-P C5-1 4 C.

Here's the video if you need to do it yourself - got a fair few samples of them repeating:

HMMPF - I think I found the reason for my lower (UP) spawn-rates !

Modified my Sensors to lightweigth Grade 5 (X-fitting ) ) - hence reducing scan-angle from 30° to 23.4°.
That is a reduction of cone-cross-section by roughly 0.67 - as the most USS spawn not straight ahead but at the outer edges of FOW
that would explain the reduction of discovered spawns by roughly 50% !
Just bought a standard set of Sensors in Darnielles Progress, on my way now to verify...

In my local database i searched for the system parameters of the right system in the image. My database is an older copy of eddb. I verified the result with eddb and edsm. I think this is a candidate for the next target systems where we have to look at. But: Distance to Sol is nearly 26000 ly. Maybe someone is near this systems and can look at it?

Nyuena WE-Z c45
Distance to Sol: 25,915.70 ly
Exactly 1 Central star
EDDB shows 8 Planets, but "Nyuena WE-Z c45 1" is missing. EDSM shows all 9 Planets.
Planet "Nyuena WE-Z c45 5 A" is a orbiting the 5th planet
No Belts
No Rings

EDDB: https://eddb.io/system/bodies/4643675
EDSM: https://www.edsm.net/en/system/bodies/id/1131392/name/Nyuena+WE-Z+c45

The moon "Nyuena WE-Z c45 5 a" is a landable body

Ciao, Udo

I wonder if a wide-angle modification would produce higher spawn rates then
