Noticing the green color, I suspect FD is getting us to pay to turn ourselves into Thargoids.
I went green.
Also bought yellow to go with the yellow chevron Conda, but not tried yet.

its a pitty that with all the cosmetics, the visual caracteristics of ships and weapons are lost

That's what the site says; yet I can't find any option to get my engine colour in Livery (in a DBS atm)
Maybe you'd like to pay a monthly server subscription, instead your highness?
aka. no you don't, have to pay for RGB values of engine. Optional, as far as I can tell.
I like them! And probably would go fo particle effects, to go on dirty drives etc. Have gone for <redacted>, <redacted> and <redacted> colours myself and they look, good! Obviously I could post a screenshot .. but then I'd have to kill you.

It's amazing the things they find development time for. Yet on another thread we're led to belive that multi crew was left severely underdeveloped due to a lack of time and resources.
Perhaps Frontier does not want to transform the galaxy into a giant aquarium ?

Id give my left **redacted** for an actual COBRA HEAD paint job for my Mk3 and Mk4s. Not just the cobra either all the snake variants should have a proper snake head paint job.
please note no children would be harmed in the donation of my left **redacted** as I've got 2 and I'm 46.
I don't like them. Why should someone 'transform' the egine-colour to red, green and so on. For me, this is too much color. FD should make landing-lights and search lights instead. This would be great. We are not in a candy-shop. I like colors for the weapons,l but not for the egines. Just my 2 cents.
Assuming that engines and weapons are an RGB value it would take about 10 seconds to produce every possible colour.
Not exactly a team of coders and designers working at it. Heck if they released templates for ship skins I guarantee we'd have thousands of excellent ones to choose from within 24 hours.

I think that a spacefaring society would have many people who would customize their ships. These are their primary source of income, whether it by trade, exploration, or combat. I would expect, especially, that combat pilots would customize their ships like old WWII pilots would customize their planes with paint jobs, emblems, and more powerful engines.
I feel like I'm the only one who went with purple and not red or blue
I haven't bought any yet, but I'm torn between purple and blue. I'd like to stand out from the crowd and purple matches my lasers. I'm still not sure if that's a good thing or not; I don't want to appear too "matchy matchy".
