Not interest in engine colours at all. I mean seriously... why? It`s an exhaust port. Nobody colours their exhausts.
Now Lasers, sure, lasers are like tracers of the modern day and can be coloured. They used to have all kinds of tracer colours for rounds in WW2 and were so for very important reasons.
But maybe I understand it worng...

Frontier are really stretching with this one. What rubbish; it doesn't make any sense to me.
Next I am sure we will see different LED colours in our cockpits or something else just as silly as engine colours.

I have to admit, the pink jets look much much better than I would have envisaged from the store.
That store is so bland, it sucks the life out of the goods. For example, some of the odd-looking flight suits look really good in player photos (the orange suit, for example).
Come on FD, you need to spruce up your store presentation.

Changing some RGB values of the engine....and we have to pay for it!!!
Yeah I was a bit disappointed by that, I'd been hoping for particle effects or something. Make the dirty drives throw out sparks for example.

I see the engine colours are only available on some ships though; cleared save and went from Sidey to Viper (both of em) and now in the DBS you can't set the engine colour. :sad:

That's what I thought too but I think they have specific and then just general....the green engines I bought didn't specify ship, only that is was green engine trails
EDite: nope you buy one color and it's good for all ships you own.

Absolutely! And, if FD do implement the ability for us to change HUD colours, you can bet your last penny it will be a store cosmetic too. At the of the day, though, it's my money and my choice if I buy or not.
