I hear what you guys are saying about having plenty of stuff to do on the campaign side, but isn't it fun to go up against some other players and really sharpen that steel, to hone that craft? I love exploring the Milky Way just as much as the next armchair astronaut, but don't you want to shoot down some human space jockeys every now and then?
I will try to find servers during more popular hours and on the weekends, thanks for the heads-up on that.
Otherwise, I hope to see you all out there in the verse.

Great idea - Ill be sure to logon both Saturday and Sunday at 9pm BST (GMT+1) for some team deathmatch CQC fun.
Would be good if someone with a bit of spare time sets up a PS4 CQC group with events and matchmaking meetups.
Also, for anyone interested who doesn't know much about CQC, you use loaned ships and there's no insurance cost. Good to know for people like me flying around in Dolphins.

Nevermind. Tried it. Hated it. Thankfully I could care less about PS4 trophies.
Finally got a few games on the weekend. Turns out everyone is on Team Deathmatch - I thought Deathmatch would be were it is at - apparently not.
Its a lot harder than i thought it would be but still a good laugh to do 4 games in an hour and then go do something a little more mentally challenging.

Yeh it is hard, I have just been sticking to deathmatch for now. Getting killed mostly, no idea how I have a 1.0 KD ratio. Its fun.

Never even noticed that. Always gone straight into open play.
Guess it will be as good a place as any to practice my combat v other players...and with no rebuy costs it will be a lot cheaper as well.

Yeh, basically Start > Arena (rather than Open, Solo etc.)
