You and that beige!

Its actually quite relevant to me atm ingame...Im just getting ready fer a 3 month planned trip into the core. Oh and I was never a huge fan before, but Im an SLF convert...oh mother those things are sweet and so much fun. I have several bookmarked slf playgrounds in a kly radius of jaques...limited only by the short range of the keelback.

I shudder to think how many wrecks are in those canyons...many but oh I so gotta get a bigger ship...in colonia...ye good luck with that

Last night I had a very moving self realization that I am indeed a complete bollox...my moron crew member flew the mothership into the blunt end of a mountain trying to keep up with me while I had the sheilds disabled to run the fighter hanger...its a 2a pp and literally not possible to have half the ship powered up to make the other half work.

So as I suicided back with no fighters left, a badly fitted keelback with 23 ly range and a moron employee who is lucky theres no airlock...and a whole 8% hull left, I realized two things. Well 4, but thats taking the pee. First I cursed me own stupidity fer being a noob, then I cursed meself again as I realized I was role playing ironman mode and this was somewhat of a "complication" to the plan that took months to formulate. Secondly I cursed me own stubborness fer ignoring the rngeers...23ly range...being in the core is one thing but getting there...or anywhere with 23ly range is just...trying on ones patience.

Thirdly, I realized I had run outta tea bags and ended up with a bargain bucket from kentuckys that ke and me daughter pigged out on laughing at her feeble attempts to dock. Although Om not much better, Ive been in the black a long time and fourth, that I no longer have the asp range cos I stripped it and sold it to make the cash up fer the python I just bought...25ly...my cup floweth over and no bloody slf which is just a bloody tragedy.

Such a lovely ship and no bloody slf...really? I really...really hate...Im using the word "hate"...this game sometimes...because even after all this time in it, Im still a complete noob at it and I still make huge mistakes. Tis a humbling experience when yer teenage daughter can dock better than me after shes literally just started...I feel old...I dont care I still get to watch the thargoids pick you lot apart from a nice little series of canyon runs...

Two of which are beige...I hate this game sometimes...

It's been bugging me.

The forum point score thing/level/rating description of "Has much to be proud of". I cannot abide to see a sentence ending in "of".

Can someone please amend this serious issue? [mad]

That's a pretty minor thing to be annoyed of.:D

It really my goat gets up.
Now you're really killing syntax.

The (unfounded) lexical irritation you feel is caused by confusing prepositions and particles.

For instance, "put up with" is a phrasal verb, where the meaning is carried by all three words - the main verb and the two particles (compare the meaning of "put," "put up" and "put up with" for illustration.)

Then compare:

"It's not something I like," which uses a standard verb, with "t's not something I put up with."

This demonstrates that phrasal verbs operate syntactically like standard lexical verbs, and those who cling to the "no prepositions at the end of a sentence" are just wrong.

I think that you write most admirably, sir. Yours are some of the few posts of which I always make sure to read all of.
Repetition of 'of' not required.

Either

Yours are some of the few posts of which I always make sure to read all (or 'all of which I always make sure to read')

or

Yours are some of the few posts which I always make sure to read all of.

You've fallen foul of Muphry's law, there, I fear.

At least "of" is not a preposition. In the immortal words of Winston Churchill: "Ending a sentence in a preposition is something up with which we shall not put."
