I see MCF offered as mission reward from high tech systems all the time. I have 25 on hand right now. Modified Embedded Firmware used to be almost impossible, but one of the last patches made it available from mission rewards as well.

Not anymore ofc...a couple of days ago I had a mission with 8 as a reward! Similar situation applies to CIF where recently, I had two concurrent missions, both with a reward of 4 of these.
