Yes there should, but which scientific field?

Here is Neil deGrasse Tyson, noted scientist, explaining how bad he is in some areas of science in 140 characters...

...retweeted and liked by his fans, but completely wrong as a few aviation/military/engineering nerds (I fall into this latter category) will be happy to point out. You're actually better off in a helicopter without power than an aeroplane.

Nobody can even know a fraction of everything.

Autorotation is a thing. If Neil wanted to trash talk choppers, he could have talked about the "Jesus nut". If that divine body part fails, everybody dies.

Read the transcription, there's definitely something wrong with the way Trump talks. He can't seem to get a coherent sentence out.

Probably going off his rocker. Prior to all this he felt he was king of the world and was surrounded by people who would do nothing but praise him. Now he is the most mocked and derided person on the entire planet, and every single day yet more stuff comes out and yet more investigations into his shady antics start.

That article is really poorly written though. I come away from it wondering if they had anything at all to report. We know that Trump is itching to fire Mueller. But we also know that if he does it will plunge the USA into a constitutional crisis and throw the FBI into total disarray. Even the likes of Paul Ryan would run for cover and Mitch McTurtle would retreat back into his shell. They just won't allow it and Trump has been told this.

Very unlikely scenario Potus pardoning himself or Son, if any questionable material should arise an explaination will normally be provided, and usually what happens.. is a NOTHING BURGER becomes the order of the day

We'll have to wait & see on this. If Trump tries to pardon himself it may well end up at SCOTUS as has never been tried before. Trump could pardon in advance people, but there are a few things:

1) Apparently an admission of guilt is required (although not sure abou tthis)
2) If people who are pardoned are questioned later, they cannot plead 5th amendment but have to answer fully as self-incrimination invalid if pardoned.
3) Pardons are only available for Federal crimes, so if State of New York (for example) wants to charge, pardon is not available.

You seem to be very sure that Trump Jr won't be getting a pardon. You'll admit that you're wrong if he does?

The reality is this, you will always find something in someones past that is highly questionable, even possibly illegal.

Um, only if the person being investigated spent decades as a property developer with mob contacts, bankrupted several businesses, and had a reputation for not paying contractors (or anyone who worked for him) preferring to go to court & settle at a discount.

however,
Russian collusion with President Trump in rigging the elections.. has been proven false time and time again

It's almost certain that Russia (either FSB or GRU) meddled in the US election process.

The current investigation - note: current - is to see if there was any illegal collusion with Trump's campaign. It's not over.

Then again, if you have to deal with the Russian legal system you quite often know what the results of the investigation are before the investigation has started, don't you? ;)

One thing all scientists know about is the scientific method. It's the thing that made Neil deGrasse Tyson respond correctly when he found out he was wrong. He makes a guest appearance 2:30 in this video.

Nobody can be an expert in every field, but an appreciation of how a conclusion has be reached must be a good thing.

Apologies for the off (on?) topic, but even just the poster frame of that video made me yearn for atmospheric planets in ED sooooo much.

His vocabulary is limited, and he has the incoherence of men who do not read.
But other than that, his English has not changed from its previous state.

There are a few factors that are simultaneously bearing on him.

- His Russian masters want their dachas back in the US and are threatening to expel US diplomats in exchange
- Scrutiny of his financial records has begun, and he cannot stop it
- The GOP cannot pass a health care bill. Compounded by loss of McCain's semi-reliable vote.
- Without the Health Care component, they can't cut the taxes in phase 2 of the Agenda.
- If they cannot pass the Agenda with Trump, why do they need him? He's more impeachable if repeated failure follows.
- His direct family is now in the firing line, testifying next week.
- He cannot oust Sessions.

The Sessions matter is so Karmic it's hard to believe.
Sessions was the first and most racist of Trump's followers of note. He gave up a permanent position as Alabama Senator, to risk it all as Trump's point man politically.
WHY would a man do that?

Well, for 2 reasons- motivated by his intense racism, Sessions sought a way to purify his nation by leading the Justice Department in an immigration purge.
Here's a relevant headline:
Jeff Sessions changes prepared speech to not call criminal illegal immigrants ‘filth’
- Marketwatch.

Without an overt racist President, Sessions never could do so before. His hatred was swallowed, day by day, festering. But now?
It could all burst out, like an abcess under pressure. He simply could not resist. He HAD to give up his job. The mental relief was too spectacular.

But secondly, he's interested in getting a piece of cash. Not the kind of cash we work for, in sums that we're familiar with.
No, he's interested in Russian Oligarch cash. That's why he's been meeting with them so often. So he opted to serve a second function, serve as Trump's Shield in the Justice Dept.
(The payback is coming later, one assumes, because he's not ready to resign. But it might never come at all.)

If he hadn't made his dissembling error in his confirmation hearing, overreaching in an answer to a rather easy softball question, his Russian connections might have gone unnoticed.
As a result, he couldn't logically investigate himself, and had to recuse.
And that opened the door to a real investigator.

President Trump reportedly went “ballistic” on his senior staff Friday, venting his frustration over Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s recusal

Because the Shield? It surrendered.

And here we are.

It's the toxic combination of greed, racism, and stupidity on Sessions' part that has mortally wounded Trump.
And it's Trumps crooked money deals that will expose him later.
It was Flynn's conviction that Islam was a direct threat to Western Civilization that got him spiraling into the arms of the Russians.

If the Breaking Bad guys has written this arc of failure, we would watch and nod and say "Men cannot Change."
In the end our own faults, our companions in life, are what end us.

i smile everytime you believe the next big NewsHype...

It is stupidity chasing the Wind!! but hey, dont let me stop you :D

Aha, this from Mr. Seth Rich story.
Know what happened to Hannity for that piece of tripe?

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity will no longer receive the conservative Media Research Center’s William F. Buckley Award for Media Excellence at its fall gala

Oh oh. But WHY?

His son Christopher Buckley reportedly “expressed great dismay” when he heard the award would go to Hannity, who has insulted conservative intellectuals on Twitter and spread conspiracy theories on his show.

Yep.
Seth Rich story.
Biting Hannity where the sun don't shine.

Sad!

In unrelated news, Sean Spicer, the Baghdad Bob of the podium, has resigned.

Sadder!

Scaramucci

Anthony Scaramucci debuts as the new mouthpiece.

Slick, smooth and at ease with the crowd, he's everything Sean Spicer failed at. If I wanted a lawyer, I want this guy.

It's a dose of lubrication that the White House desperately needs. We get Press Conferences that they aren't so ashamed of that they hide behind no camera rules. And the Admin gets a much more polite and capable representative, who is inoculated from attack because of the unsourced CNN story that got retracted.

(Also, instead of the News Cycle focusing on the Health Care Fail, there's a distraction.)

Here. See?

This may be more true to people who have grown up oin a two party system, but even there it's a phenomenon which is much stronger on the Conservative side of the isle.

Remember how the Republicans made it their mission to oppose Obama regardless of what he was trying to do. Suddenly Romneycare became socialism, for example.

Trum is boorish and unpleasant, and his attitudes towards women, minorities and the LTBTQ community are are downright disgusting. However, if he started championing environmental causes and pushing for other actually beneficial policies, I would support them, giving him credit.

Liberal / Left Wing distaste and resistance towards Trump isn't because of some abstraction. It's because of what he does, and what he is trying to achieve.

EXACTLY. Adept typed isle, not Aisle. Glad you noticed. Please, tell me you noticed BEFORE my post.

Oops! I am guessing you didn't...

We can criticize Adepts English when he gets to criticize our Finnish. :p

Yep. He has always had a poor grasp of English and has strung together words in a haphazard way, and his command of English remains the same. This is from last year:

The other day:

He's as bright as a total eclipse.

.

No, that's not fair. Finnish is practically a code language like Navajo in WW-II, and I get paid to write entertaining stuff in English.

Like I said, when my stuff is garbled it means I was tapping along on an iPad. Editing stuff is a pain, and it's most likely being written at some crazy hour.

Here. See?

Yes, it's all part of the conspiracy we've hatched using Hillary's servers on Obama's Yacht, while eating kale funded by Soros.

If conservatives fear that people will think that they're dumb because of a typo, let me just point out that you all voted in Trump.
That ship?
Sailed.
