An easy way to create a scale for your measurments is to land in your ship - take note of your lat/lon then go out in your srv 2000m or so while staying on the same lat or lon... Then u have a yardstick to compare the lat long measurments u take at either end of the site...

Edit- of course measuring things is much simpler if there are two commanders.. Just slect the other commander and look at the distance between you

Edit2.... Ok ya probably the easiest measurment would be a radius from the unknown device since that can be selected.... Ok going back to work :p

New station in Pleiades Sector IR-W d1-55?

I just want to confirm if "Donar's Oak" is a new station in Pleiades Sector IR-W d1-55. I don't remember seeing it the last time I was in this system.

Also along with the new station, Cooper Research Associates expanded into the system, the first officially recognized superpower affiliation in the system (Alliance).

With respect to Ancient Ruins - I went looking out in Eta Carina.
I searched every star within the mass code D boxel around ETA CARINA SECTOR EL-Y D(number), an 80ly * 80ly * 80ly cube. There is one known ruins system in that boxel (ETA CARINA SECTOR EL-Y D16).
I approached to within 1000 ls of every landable body in every system in that volume. Turns out there are no more ruins sites within the boxel. So don't bother looking inside it, if you're out at ETA CARINA...

You DID Just do a CG to build an Alliance Research Station out there. Reading before partaking in a CG usually helps if you wish to understand the story or reason you are doing a CG, though all are merely distractions to keep you from the truth!

Not :cool: not :cool: at all if you knew anything about the history of the INRA and who they work for. This does not bode well for most of us. You people just can't keep your slimy tendrils out of everything that happens in game can you? The Superpowers consisting of NPC's make a new joint research group and the first thing Canonn wants to know is, where is my invite? Why are we not involved?
