Or to rephrase that, success comes to those who put in the hard work![]()
To be fair though, the amount of effort you put into complaining about the game already makes you an extremely hard worker. Grinding away in the forums day in, day out to eke out a couple of extra features is real nose to the grindstone stuff. Keep up the good work![]()

I wouldn't say they've stopped communicating entirely, they're just not providing the detail about upcoming content quite they way they used to in the days of Dev Updates and DDF. I think they're a lot more guarded these days as many of us, myself included, have at times been critical of new content before it actually releases - Powerplay, CQC, multicrew for example. I also think they get a bit of a kick out of having surprises, like they sprung with the updated camera suite for example. I'd love to see a return of the Dev Updates, but perhaps not with the current community state - it probably only works in an environment of hope and wonder, not one of cynicism. As this community has grown and become more diverse, and that's not a bad thing, I think it's also made it harder for Frontier to take risks in communicating their plans too soon.
Just imagine, Christmas 2017, Fdev advertise 3.0 for £40: Atmospherics, gas giant skimming and landable comets - I'd reinstall the game for that in a heartbeat! (Include an orrery and I'd probably get a chub on). That's certainly possible. The slowing pace of development would seem to indicate that, but I still have hope that much of the dev team is just working ahead on stuff behind the scenes that we have absolutely no idea about. I'm probably just being stupid though. Time will tell, and all we can do is wait for Frontier to possibly enlighten us someday.
Funny how the three things you mentioned were unqualified disasters (excuse the hyperbole), and basically on life support now, maybe they need to listen and take on board what their community is telling them and respond in a sort of two way dialogue.I wouldn't say they've stopped communicating entirely, they're just not providing the detail about upcoming content quite they way they used to in the days of Dev Updates and DDF. Cool, didn't know Fallout4 was due so soon and yea, X Rebirth is filling the void ED left in me...
Beta what? Oh you must mean the alien combat zones and more engineer grind. No, no, god forbid no. Overwatch Summer Games in full swing, X: Rebirth VR edition is a sight to behold and flies amazingly fun with the Vive motion controllers, and last but not least list of shame also known as steam backlog is full of wonderful games, and in October I will be hyped for Fallout 4 VR. So, no, gradually de-hyped since 2.1.
I hope they won't add another grind-fest to get special weapons against Thargoids. Because Grind = Not Fun! There's already way too much grind.
Add features to deepen the sandbox, improve multiplayer and more emergent gameplay.
