A Scream of help from an empty space (An Appeal to FDev)

and that they now use the money from Plaůnet Coaster sales to develop Elite further.

Baseless supposition is baseless.

Edit: actually, just to expand on that, even if they had used some of the profits from E|D to help develop PC, it doesn't mean that it was to the detriment of E|D's development. It just doesn't necessarily work that way.

Refrain from unnecessary criticism here and be reasonable.
Good luck with that.

Look, I appreciate what you're trying to do and a formalised request -- even one tinged with emotive language ("DEMAND"?) -- from an organised group or groups is arguably better than a series of disconnected scattershot postings all over the forums. The problem is that you're trying to offer an objective critique of the game's progress so far (and in many ways it has been slow and ill-conceived, so we're not in disagreement there) but there is also clearly an agenda to skew development in a direction favourable to your and your colleagues' preferred vision.

Item exchange and guilds, for example, would be as undesirable for me as multicrew is and I am far from alone in that attitude. Not everyone's wishlist is the same.

Your OP is basically a glorified "Game needs x or game will die" post dressed up as something more formal. I'm sorry, but to expect no criticism of it is naive at best.

In this appeal all is true, everything is essentially. The game is absolutely not reveals the creative potential of the player, absolutely there is no tools for creativity, such as in ksp. Yes, the Elite also has the combinatorics of vehicle modules, but, compared to the ksp, it's all very primitive at the impact of the player on the world and the world to the player. The player wants to change the world, but instead he was offered to beat his head on the scripts. Very much in the game, unfortunately, went somehow wrong and not to there.

PS: We are calling the commanders to familiarize themselves with the above text a soberly assess the entire current situation. You are free to pass by and leave everything as it is now, or you can support our aspirations and try to change something eventually. Refrain from unnecessary criticism here and be reasonable.

Nope. You are only speaking for a very small part of the community.

All of the speakers above. You misunderstood the meaning of the text. It's not about making Elite has become like EVE.

This is a post about what development should continue.
Now we see in the game many small parts that are not useful which give us a very limited gaming experience.
This has to be developed. But it's not happening. A very long time.

See, that's what I disagree with. I am not entirely happy with the current state of the game. I also don't know where the journey will take us. But I also disagree with your priorities and the direction you think the development should continue. That you also claim to speak for the community only makes it worse.

You choose what to support and what not. It is your decision.

Here are many people who disagree with you. But here are those who disagree with us. This is the community.

So far almost everyone disagreed with you. And yet you still claim to speak for the community.

We can try to figure it out. It's not our job, but we can.
You want?

Until the size of the subset of the community that is represented by the OP is figured out, it might be better not to claim to speak on behalf of "the community" as that implies the whole community (rather than what is probably a subset of the community that does not comprise a majority).

No, it does not work that way. It is *your* concern. And yours only.

Errr, actually it's mine too. That kind of statement only applies if you've actually, ya know, made sure it's only one person's concern.

I'm not reading the entire thread but this is quite bizarrely the most unified support I've seen of the game's development.

I got a lotta love for the game, but the development process has been lackluster as hell. Yes to a more transparent direction, yes to more sensible bug testing/resolution, yes to BGS development, yes to more content.

Guild stuff? Hell no. Keep that out my game or I'll cut you down with a herring. Let's develop ED, not turn it into something else.

If you disagree, you can just say it.

Yes, I speak for the community. We express the opinion that part of the community that supports it. If you disagree, you can just say it.

I speak for the community too and I say that you don't speak for the community. Check mate. :D

BTW
From now on I'll start every post with "I speak for the community..."
