I've had a quick peek and there's a Diving snorkel inside with some swimming goggle without any straps....it's all very strange.:eek:

Any Issues ?

Expecting my dk2 to arrive sometime today, can't wait to try it in ED. Does it just work out of the box, or is there some jiggery pokery I need to know about to set it up first ?

Oh, I'm sure getting it going is not that simple, I was referring to the manual being of little use beyond the obvious.

Oculus have repeatedly said that if you're not a developer you shouldn't but DK2. Anyone who buys it expecting an idiot guide, or who cannot troubleshoot PC issues, needs to get it onto fleabay ASAP! :p ;p)

hardly any jiggery,

1. disable two process's in task manager
2. set rift in extended mode through oculus config.
3. Play :)

apart from the usual settings within elite graphics config

really pretty easy.

Hey man, if there's ANYTHING on the DK2 on the interwebz that I haven't already read (twice) I'd be surprised. :D

While I am a dev I have never worked with OR. Although my girlfriend wants me to develop something for OR that would be fun for our house pig. She wants to call it Pigulus Drift as she thinks our pig will stagger in circles.
Virtual Farm....Hmmmmm

When my DK2 comes I'm going to see what my pig thinks of it. I don't think OR was geared for pigs to wear so I doubt she'll get the full 3d effect...but fun to see what happens.

2 will need to come before 1 :)

Ok maybe not much jiggery but definitely some pokery...
Most demos require you to also set the rift as the primary display ( not necessary for ED)
Also need to make sure rift is set to 75 hz and v sync is on from the desktop.
Some people are having the ED settings overridden if they don't set manually from the desktop.

Disable wscrip.exe and the oculus service .exe before opening the game.
