Please note that I helped my spouse upgrade their copy, so it is bewildering for me to hear people are denied this upgrade now. I almost feel bad, having gotten something they cannot, despite starting in the same place. :(

We could buy a new standard beta, but we can't pay a little extra to convert our KS Gamma into a standard beta because they have extended the premium beta upgrade path, even though any upgraded standard beta would not become active until the 29th anyway so it is rather strange.

Yes, exactly. I am just confused, is all. Feel like I must be missing something, but I have no idea what. :S

You mean to Premium Beta? I'm fairly sanguine, what does it matter if more people join after then, putting more cash in the coffers? Beta won't be delayed, that has been made clear.

It doesn't affect me, already in PB. But I don't understand why allowing more time for people to buy into PB should prevent a discount of those who want to trade up from gamma to plain beta? They are after all missing out on combat test build without this opportunity? Why couldn't both options be available? It's moot now given that it should be available tomorrow...

Judging from forum activity in Introductions part of forum and forum member count increases, it seems like this week has welcomed steady stream on new players (both in Standard and Premium Beta). Little sign that sales have continued to been good. :)

Ugh, this is giving me headaches.

So on the 19th I tried upgrading to premium beta - it guided me through the checkout process, saying I had to pay 80€ (120 - 40 for my standard package). It canceled on PayPal checkout and I haven't been able to get it working again since then.


Now I browse the store but I can only find a beta package. Since it's without lifetime upgrades I'd have to spend 100€ - 60 for beta access and 40 for the upgrade pack.

Am I doing it wrong? Or am I really supposed to pay 20€ more than 3 days ago because of the store breakdown?

Well, in any case, I hope it'll be more clear before the 29th since I'd enjoy getting the lifetime update pack.

If i understood you correctly, you can get upgrade for your regular game package. Your math didn't include that :)

Premium beta upgrade is not available anymore, sorry :( However, You should be able to upgrade to beta from your standard package 40€ worth (that means 60€ - 40€ = 20€) and 40€ for upgrade pack, so 60€ in total.

getting Standard Beta started

I have been playing single player scenarios.
So when Standard Beta arrives latter today how to get started?
will the launcher auto modify on log in? Or do we Go back to My account and My downloads?
