Not that much considering their expected monthly outlay tbh, $78k a day is "only" $2.3 million a month.

What I find strange is that people are paying extra for something they have already paid for but not yet received. Why don't they pay money when they actually receive something, is the allure of LTI simply too much for them?

In the last 4 months they took about that or above each month. If they had a dollar for every time some one said they would be shutdown/go bust in the next few months ETC. EG In Oct 2015 DS said that they would shut down in 90 days.

I do not think funding is the biggest problem, in fact funding is an extraordinary success another $9000 in 2 hours

Okay, so my prediction will be:
Absolute failure to acknowledge 3.0
Complete focus on what is coming in the next year, including things which tie in directly with the "closely guarded secret 600i" concept sale
No news on Sq42 Prelude, no indication of when the next update will drop
Huge hype about something that "They wanted to show to the Gamescom floor, but it wasn't quite polished"

The strong thing that RSI have in this 3.0 show are the visuals, and sadly most ppl are easily impressed/manipulated by the visuals. Heck, even I was like - wow, this is AWESOME when I started watching RSI Gamescom vids. This planet surface/cockpits looks fantastic, make me want to throw some money at the screen.... oh wait wait, how about flight model and gameplay.... oh damn. Sadly it will probably make more ppl that are new to SC odyssey to throw their money in to the pile.

Flight model is very poor, it's like playing an FPS with a semi-transparent cockpit screenshot attached to your helmet.

Another $78,000 raised by CIG yesterday, In fact it went up by $4000 in the last 30 mins.

No matter which side of the fence you are on its pretty amazing.

For me, its amazing that people are still throwing money at CIG. Can only guess its new fish who saw the pew pew and thought it looked good. How many backers still are willing to throw money at this? And for... vehicles? Or is it for the new ship? I can't imagine the vehicles costing much once the game goes live. Surely they will be fairly easy to get and replace.... surely....
