Love the game but makes no sense

After my epic 3 month expedition, I used my 500 million in exploration data to get most permits by selling data to Ally with permit holders, then I was elite and set up base at Jameson station and kitted out 4 ships.
'Heavy' t9 for trading and fighters
'Raspy' my trusty explorer Asp 49ly range never died
'voltzz' my low heat vulture for Combat
'splashy' my passenger liner
'bubble hop' my diamondback E
So I took bubble hop round and allied with engineer systems and got my last available engineers
I tried using fighters with heavy but my helm crew sucked
I went out to Quince with raspy 9 hops, Sent for splashy 130K transfer fee, to do some passenger missions, but these are now gone and took 1 hour for splashy to arrive. Now I am stuck with 2 ships in one place so have to do same going back.
If I want to move voltzz or heavy or splashy around, their range is so bad I need to use raspy or bubble hop, then transfer them. The fees and time aren't worth it.
Quince wants domestic stuff, but its 58 jumps for heavy.
I also dont get the telepresence in fighters, I can swap with my crew member, the selection is so user unfriendly and although the fighter is fun (and difficult to shhot down, if you ever try in a cz), the crew member lets the mother ship get smashed up, 10 million rebuy...ah well back to bubble I suppose and get ready for another exploration trip.

While many things don't make sense (it's a game :) ), I'm not entirely sure what it is you are saying? In the context of a game, none of the things you've described seem unreasonable...
 
Still holding out for the bit of the story where voltzz does something - don't leave us hanging!

(And +1 to Crank - what are you actually complaining about? Transfer fees and dodgy NPCs may be annoying, but they 'make sense')

Nah, voltzz has too low of a jump range so he can't bring it out to Quince, but the 500 million he made on his epic journey isn't enough to afford the 130K transfer fee. Sigh...FDev fix this travesty!
 
I, uh, don't know what to tell you? Thousands of other players use the interfaces and methods without any trouble.
If have Horizons, it sounds like you may need to pay a visit to Felicty Farseer and have those Frame Shift Drives worked on.
