I've never played any of the "Witcher" series. I've seen all the "makeout" cutscenes on youtube. But something about playing a lecherous albino warlock (and a rip-off of Elric of Melnibone) turned me off. Is it worth playing, or just scripted nonsense overall?

So I'm replaying the excellent X COM 2 with the now newly released War of the Chosen expansion. I'm not a massive fan of this sort of game so it should say a lot that I consider it excellent. Genuinely tense moments playing this wondering whether the choices I made will end up with me winning a mission or getting my team wiped out.
Anyone else replaying this now with the new expansion?
Still haven't tried the expansion, but I loved XCOM and XCOM 2. I'll wait for my incoming 2 week vacation to give it a proper spin. XCom isn't a game to be played just for an hour or 2.![]()
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. I think this is my 5th or 6th play through, but my god I love this game so much.
Thinking of getting it on PS4 too to support the small independent studio to the fullest.
I must be weird in that I don't most/any of these games you folks play.
I do still play FC and Crysis from time to time. Waiting for FC5 to hit early next year.
Not played that at all. Might look into it though on this recommend.
