Thought I'd try out the new download. On my way from Eurybia to Socho, just jumped into HR 913 & find nothing showing on screen or in radar. Dropped out of SC, still nothing, went back to SC & did a Discovery scan & now the bodies show up, but I'm 81.0 ls away from the main star, 191 ls from B & C- is this a bug already??

Okay, so it seems like the 4x6 octal (?) numbers that they scan are grouped into very few triples, which repeat all the time. So far I have found:

They seem far to much clumped around 150 in order to be random, or even drawing instructions, I feel.

So, err, not really sure I *want* to go out there after reading these messages!
Getting a sense of friendly/non-friendly encounters here - if anyone can get shots of that logo above the centre to see if they're the same in both cases that'd be interesting

If you mean not seeing hud icons or system map after after honking the discovery scanner - when the servers are getting heavy load (like now) it can sometimes take a while for scans to show up.
If you mean the actual physical stars were missing then yeah sounds like a bug

Got a few encounters here as well, in the pleiades region, They seem to be everywhere...
The first one I bumped into, too happy and wanted to give a hug, not a piloting error at all ^^ , he didn't like it...
The second one shot me on sight, I fought back, but once down to 9% hull and a critical canopy, I could escape.
The third one was more peaceful at first, I left him a canister of Tactical data, he scanned me and the canister, then turned red and attacked me. I managed to get a few kilometers away, then came back. The Thargoid ship jumped, leaving a wake I scanned.
So far, I didn't learn much, and already had repairs for around 1 Million

There is nothing unusual around Merope 5C and the barnacle site.
My group and I found a alien base at 25.6238 by 78.1680 at A7A in aries dark region db-x d1-63
