Dropped into a non human USS with an escape pod on-board, got scanned then dropped the pod and watched the Thargoid pick it up.
It scanned everything ells, ignored all of it, then jumped out.

Maybe unrelated but I just dropped into convoy dispersal L3. Inside 8 Sirius ships - 70 km from Alcazar's Hope, Merope.

...and got 1.200.000 Cr fine because of UPs.

Was that second one chasing the 1st? 1st one seemed to give it legs as the second one turned up and fired off the pulse, prior to that it was pretty peaceful and chill.

I have then entered a USS with the alien, deploying the limpet. The alien began opening fire at me. After a while the limpet returned this to me: https://i.imgur.com/GVTlkmH.jpg

Thoughts on what I should do with it?

Was that second one chasing the 1st? 1st one seemed to give it legs as the second one turned up and fired off the pulse, prior to that it was pretty peaceful and chill.

It does actually look like that. Interesting. I wonder if the meta alloys I gave it had anything to do with it or if it was always going to happen. This was the first encounter that was different for me.

The most obvious one is to sell it on the black market, but I don't think, or rather hope FD thought of something more than just 7.5k cr from the black market being the reward.

Yep, I can live without the 14k i'd get from Obsidian Orbital, so think i'll hold onto it for now, just incase.

I just jettisoned synthethic meat before a thargoid. It scanned the meat and it really didn´t like it Was just trying to give it an alternative food source. Maybe Fruits will work...

They don't think much of coffee and tea either. Probably the lack of biscuits.

So when suctioning over a barnacle, it seems to be pulling stuff into the same compartment as the Thargons go in/out of in the back. Could barnacles be Thargon spawning grounds?
