srv canyon racing was a jolly good laugh too

My favourite part was where I was going pretty quickly on waypoint 5 at which point a canyon appeared under my srv and I slightly died xD

-First 50+ player mass jump from Sag A*

-1300 CMDR's on a 3+ month trip to the other side of the galaxy

-Exploding ships

oh and Jaques, remember him? Heard of DWE and had a crazy idea to jump his station to BP. Got lost, and Colonia was born?

ergo, DWE3302 spawned Colonia!!!

(well, sort of... maybe) :D

This is true. There are plenty more, actually, those were just the ones I could think of in 30 seconds.

It's amazing how many of the CMDR's you become acquainted with, and find yourself hanging out with often. I still drop into systems in the bubble and regularly see recognise a fellow DWE CMDR (and vice versa). In a way, the instancing can be cool, as it limits the number of folk you chat to at once, allowing a conversation to happen, and you very quickly build friendships.

Will there be someone offering ship portraits before we head off? Pretty sure someone did that last time.

I need to get a great shot of my Cobra! Damn! I'm gonna' have to buy the expedition name plate pack!

Had a lot of fun on DW 1.
Radio Sidewinder had five members join that original expedition, it's my hope to encourage an even greater turnout from our community this time around.

We would of course be interested in collaborating with the DW2 organizers on any radio media they might wish to pursue!

(For now, since I can't promise for sure that I'll still be around by then, or that other commitments won't come up or whatever. But for now, I'm excited about this).

I missed out on the first one, and it would be great to get a second chance. :)
