Prediction for tomorrow's galnet article about the 3rd AEGIS CG.

"Appeal for Thargoid Materials a success!"
Thousands of pilots contributed Thargoid-related materials to AEGIS' most recent appeal to develop new anti-thargoid defence systems... etc etc

Because why let the truth that they actually only receive millions of tonnes of Explosives and Microcontrollers get in the way of a good story.

FD, *please* don't make the same mistake for a 5th CG.

Give Thargoid Tissue samples fair representation as contribution to the CGs. If you read through the various CG threads people are sick of the grind of hauling back and forth, but don't do Tissue samples because it's a pointless affair in terms of trying to get the CG to succeed. If the Tissue Samples had fair representation, risk-averse people could do the trade aspect, while people who want to fetch tissue samples can still meaningfully contribute.

Just make 1t of tissue samples = 100t of contribution. Easiest and most basic fix. That's all it takes.

like asking for engineering materials you get via bounty hunting. something like focus crystals and alloys, together with the thargoid samples.

given the preview from the expo, we can expect another CG asking for guardian relics in the near future,
while i actually hope for different kind of CG that unlocks anti-alien blueprints for all engineers, so we can mod regular weapons into those AX ones
