What teensy tiny things would you like to see changed in ED?

Well I went on last night and there it was in plain sight. Two years and I had never noticed it......

Thankyou for taking the time to enlighten me.

Wonders what else I have failed to "see".

Have a feeling it's only been there since about v2.3, so easier to miss.

When launching, toss the pad landing display and give us our ship radar immediately. The pad view provides no value at this point, and the radar would.

[edit] new one. You know those messages we get when passengers disembark? I know some may like this, but I'd really like a way to turn them off. Tried the filters in the messaging window to no avail. Guessing it could be just a new filter.

How about missions that involve canyon running and asteroid traversal through and around. I want to put my piloting skills to test in some other way than in combat. Can you imagine flying into an asteroid smashing a target and flying out before it explodes?

1. Higher search and rescue rewards.
2. Reload keybind for MCs
3. Keybind to open the GalNet window while in your ship in populated systems.
4. Making rare CG materials count as more tonnes.

Well that would be pretty awesome

Probably been said before but in 2.4 the amount of NPC's that go colliding into me when I'm leaving a station (generally from underneath) so if cars can have rear view cameras, surely a camera view showing beneath the ship would only take a lunch break to resolve :p

Engineers - FSD for example - If it's modded at present I have to go back into outfitting to see what difference in jump range the mod has performed. A stat such as before mod 19LY with mod 22LY so I can see on the screen immediately (and yes I know the red bars and optimal mass) but follow the KISS principle and let me know to what effect the mod has on my core FSD.

X52 Pro - why do I have to keep the windows controller screen open to be able to use all the buttons on my throttle?

V2k.

I think it would be an option to display navigation targets on the HUD, and then lock onto them rather than select a destination from the list.

Either that, or more information on the target within the HUD, rather than needing to look at the side screen. Things like star class, bounty and so on.

I would really, really like two small lights on the Anaconda's front deck edge like the Cutter and Courier have. There's a windsight there but it's not illuminated.

edit: I would also love it if the type of star at the end of a jump would be given on the small overlay instead of STATUS or SECURITY instead of having to watch the side panel.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

A vector indicator would be nice. Especially, since more ppl are using FA-off.

Add tags to Galnet stories ie #Palin, #Thargoids, #System states, so I can choose which tags to view and also then see all the stories relating to this tag. Galnet would become searchable and lost info could be found quickly.

As an Xbox user I'd like HUD colour to be able to be changed ... okay so maybe that's not quite a tiny thing but surely it could not require too many man hours to sort that?

Okay Trent tiny ... move options 1 and 10 of bobblehead placements slightly further out to stop the HUD visual blocking it
