Hey all,
I've noticed something rather annoying...
Every single time I've been interdicted when near to my target planet, the "Escape Vector" always ends up being towards said planet? Needless to say, even if I escape I end up exiting FSD due to my proximity.
Is this a bug or an oversight on the developers part? I generally escape interdictions just fine when in deep space, but near a planet it always sends me towards it. My choices are basically submit, actually fail the interdiction mini-game, or "win" but nearly crash into the planet.
Am I missing something here? Is there a trick to avoiding interdictions when near a planet? I mean, if I don't follow the escape vector I simply loose the mini-game.
Scoob.
