stuff like, thrudds, ship yard configurators and eddb should all be built into the UI of the game.
I understand the 'git gud' argument, but its still kinda lame since this isnt 1984 Elite. (And I'm old enough to have played it on my C64)
Just saying. We've had E*Trade since 2000, but in 3300 where we have commodities trading on an intergalactic scale we cant get the ship computer to tell us trade info?
The bigger issue with this argument is if you really only used the resources available in the game, you literally wouldnt be able to do most of the 'end game' type content in this game because the game doesnt tell you. The game has almost no explanation on the types of USS, planetary landing coordinates, what stations sell what modules or most of the things dealing with the different economic systems. Most of the Guardian/Thargoid stuff also has zero explanation.
That said, I didnt use Thrudds out of laziness mostly. I hate having to play with a computer open. Luckily with 2.4 BB trade missions are paying out almost as much as min/maxing with ABA commodities trading. At allied I'm getting $3-6Mil each way with 1-hop BB hauling missions.
