Space Stations must have insurance and also business continuity insurance. So the insurance companies should then commerce repairs (increasing demand for materials) and issue a CG to expedite the repairs to stop paying for loss of business. Space Stations would also upgrade defenses and fighters with AX Weapons etc

Well, after the first station attacks and the ensuing repair thing I was saying that people would feel more involved with the rescue efforts and such if the attacks struck a station that people actually care about.
Not saying FDEV cared about what I said, but I think people will feel more involved with this attack than the others (at least from reading the initial replies in this thread )

Its OA's own fault, he not just attacked Thargoids, he recorded it on video and put it on the Internet for everybody, including the Goids, to see! Of course they are gonna attack back, what a foolish mistake
I take it the announcer doesn't panic and stays cool and collected as always.

For those not in the know, Obsidian Orbital never had a shipyard or outfitting, it is essentially just an Anarchy truck stop outside the bubble. Only real incentive to go there was an old high paying trade route to Darnielles progress + recently those dodgy high paying Aegis/Palin missions collecting alien samples.
Darnielles progress & Maiapoint are the important stations in system - Both surface ports (Currently) untouchable. Darnielles progress is the sole exporter of meta alloys (Alss offers very high paying missions) Maia point offers very lucrative trucking missions.
Not that I won't help Obsidian get back on line, it will take months though, and for no real gain, those thargoid tech missions wouldn't have lasted forever anyway.
