I do understand that you hate it, the question is what you are doing here. You don't like the game, you don't expect that it can get better because you don't like the developer either... Why do you enjoy wasting yours and everyone's time so much?
I didn't say he doesn't care for the game, I said that he doesn't like it. Please read my post properly.
I did. You first made an assumption about his attitude towards the game and questioned his behaviour on that basis. I merely told you, why you could be wrong (which you are obviously).

That's
1. perfectly normal for a three years old game.
This is not a regular game. This game is not even finished. It is an re-labeld early access game with micro transactions, which lets you buy features, which will be implemented an a minimum level, to maybe never be completed to its full potential.
I agree to discussing numbers, like active players, we don't have is not bringing us anywhere.

What 'features' can I buy for micro transactions?

He said: "which lets you buy..." which means that the game lets you buy. If he would have meant the MTX he would have said "which let you buy".

The game does let you buy extra features, currently through the only available season pass Horizons.

Yeah such deals are usually called 'extensions' allthough recent sale of Horizons put it's price into few cosmetics price range.

'Horizons' isn't a micro transaction, it's a paid expansion. Utterly different.

Till now:
-Engineers with Horizon pass
-Additional pip by officially approved by MB active multiboxing with second account on the same PC

Again, Horizons isn't a microtransaction, it's a paid expansion.

Additional pip is also not a microtransaction, it's acquired by the purchase of a second account. And while I don't particularly agree with it (I think the additional pip was a bad idea) that doesn't make it relevant.

I don't know why you keep bringing up microtransactions.

I only studied grammar in my native tongue so I can't explain this properly, but even as a foreigner I understand that the original sentence was made up of multiple statements:

Elite Dangerous:

- is a re-labeld early access game
- has micro transactions
- lets you buy features, which will be implemented an a minimum level
- may never be completed to its full potential.

That's what the dude wanted to... uhmm... convey.

Ok, but the microtransaction in Elite are purely cosmetic and are therefore entirely optional, to no detriment to anyone not buying them, and therefore hardly a great source of evil. They're not loot boxes.

Not true

- has micro transactions
Is there an issue with that?

You can buy an expansion which has feature in it, just like any other expansion. And I can't think of any features that have been implemented at a minimum level.

- may never be completed to its full potential.
Possibly, possibly not. Technically the full potential could be our entire lifespan due to the size of the game world.

Not too sure why as most of it is pretty irrelavant and not true.

Multicrew would be contender for this. Even Frontier have admitted that it's not as fully featured as they wanted.

I can certainly think of a more minimum version though. Like no gunner option at all, and when you do go into multicrew you just appear in the SLF as it undocks from them mothership. But I agree that is the worst one, but even that isn't that bad. The only thing missing is actual reasons to use multicrew apart from larking around with your mates every now and again.

How is it not a relabelled early access game?
