I know many people who play in Solo in Sothis area and during CGs, while otherwise being in open.

If you don't know, Mobius and Mobius PvE are Player-Groups hosting a bunch of like-minded Cmdr's who prefer a PvE experience. PvP is still enabled, but everyone agree's not to engage in PvP.
Mobius is full at the moment, but there are slots open in Mobius PvE - unfortunately it seems the person accepting Request joins has gone on holiday; my request has been holding for a few days now.

People keep mentioning a barren open mode...
Considering the pilots that confine themselves to solo are rarely worthy opponents, doesn't that just leave us with well built ships and skilled pilots in open?

Join Mobius (private group) PvE group large community. I will play Mobius and i will play open and the number of people i encounter in either seems to me to be about the same.
But open play PvP is expected, some like it, Some are ok with it, some tolerate it, some hate it.
But you do have a choices. Fly safe and smart in open, or dont fly in open.
Never take a PvP kill personally... Its just a game.
Trolls who use exploits to kill you though.... Just hit the ban button.

Because for all the 'git gud' and such comments when there is a post of frustration like this, those that say a person should get good, are at least from my experience, regardless of their claim of emergent game play or similar, not looking for an actual fight where they might risk loosing, I'd love to be proven wrong but so far its held true every time.
So yeah, 'git gud' are nothing more then taunting people despite their own lack of abilities, I'd love to see video's of people attacking similar sized and ability people, rather then just the destruction of easy targets.

Some nasty comments being made here, which are not justified. Mostly, I suspect, by players who have uber-engineered their weapons and use them against less skilled pilots. Nice people.
