Might be stupid but...

Is there any stations in Bernard’s loop? Land or space? I like the area and I kinda want an out of bubble home that I can escape to.

thanks! Is that the system name? Because that’s a rather odd system name XD

no. The system is PMD2009 48.

there are some others out that way, but that's the closest one to Barnard's Loop....now you DO know that according to lore that's where the 'goids came from, right? The whole area is currently permit-locked for 'future content'.

Don't forget to swing by Betelguise on your way out...and Rigel B.

I checked Bernards loop, I can plot a course in it, it’s tge horsehead nebula I cant access...but this base will be a starting step to deeper space for me now

Yeah, be careful. There are lots of locked systems in the region and route-planner is usually having a hard time coming up with detours.

you can, but Col Sector 70 is permit locked...as is the Horsehead Dark region behind it. Just saying if you're running away from teh 'goids you might end up a lot closer to them than you would be if you stayed where you are....and you'd probably be better armed too.

Be aware that, while there are several sectors around PMD2009 48 that are non-permit-locked, but they are deep inside the larger Col 70 Sector bubble which is permit-locked. Think of it like an eggshell, with a fairly narrow opening at the top: you can fly in, but the only way to fly out again is to go back out the same way you came in. It's a "dead-end", almost completely surrounded by permit-locks. Your navigational computer has great difficulty in trying to plot courses around that region, as it keeps finding that the optimal routes are blocked by permit-locks, so it eventually gives up and says "route unavailable".
