CMDR Two Is Online.
"Hey CMDR one, wanna wing up for a bit?"
"Sure, where are you, CMDR two?"
"Open."
"Damn, I'm in solo"
"Nevermind"
Not so fixed.

I had to switch from Open to PG over the weekend due to game client crashes in Open. An extra 30 mins before I could play would not have been good.
I think what he meant was that after the first switch a timer would set in.
Still doesn't matter, people would just log out and then log back in, takes only marginally longer.
Unless OP also wants to restrict when or how often people can shut down the game, perhaps he should have spent 30 minutes to actually think this through.
well that shouldn't happen.
Next!
What's with the need to decide how other people play their games?
there.
Mode switching resolved.
You're welcome FD!
But it does.
Besides: are you seriously suggesting that Frontier should give people more reasons to not play the game?
if it fixes the major exploits the game has had in the past years, yes.
Stop being so whiny because of very specific and rare situations seriously.
Ah this is the tub getting thumped this week. At least the open vs solo debate is getting a little rest.
Mode switching is an exploit and is just as bad as combat logging. Worse even because it's done so much more. There's nothing wrong with switching modes. There's nothing wrong with stacking missions. There's nothing wrong with high payouts.
