Dale, have FD decided on future model or you still have internal discussions? When potentially this year we might have clarity about model for future updates?

The Season model is over but seasons (with a lower case 's' continue). I don't see anything confusing about that at all! :x
To be fair after Horizons entire lifespan I don't see problem with season model at all. I understand why FD wanted to do things this way. Also I suspect there's always will be big feature updates with premium DLC and smaller ones which everybody will get.
2.4 as season is over imho but not the narative that has been started.
I was gobsmacked when I heard that the Beyond updates are free for Horizon owners.
Then the payed premium content was mentioned, I realy can't wait to see what that might be.
We haven't seen the Thargoid scout yet either while it was announced as seemingly being part of 2.4

"but the game will continue to evolve and grow as we've always set out to do. " is nicely reassuring that development of the game seems planned to continue perhaps at least three more years or even seven more to round up a ten year effort.
Yes, don't really mind whatever they call it, Season or season. Just hopefully continue the roll they've got going. Wouldn't mind if it was called "beyond" act 2 or 3, etc. in the future, as long as there are new "chapters" every few months and down the road we can see how the game has come along by say.. chapter 42 haha

Maybe if Frontier can snatch some of Bioglare's "story teller" employees...
I mean, they do actually manage to tell a story in SWTOR....
Its not that good - to justify them christening it "Bioware Story Telling™", but there is at least something, rather than a hole in the ground.
The problem is, that with SWTOR, every player classe saved the galaxy and did the story in a similar way. Prime example of if everyone rescues the princess, then the achivement feels less if everyone else has done it.
Having seen the release note, I guess 2.4 is over but as 3.0 is free, I have no problem with it.
I mean for 2.4 alone we got ;-
- We got three thargoid vessels to deal with.
- Biopsy missions.
- INRA Bases. (including Cmdr Jameson)
- Station Rescues
- T-10
- AX Weapons and modules
- Station Rebuilding
- Crashed Thargoid Ships
- New Megaships appearing
- Tonnes of QoL improvements
Yes there were problems I think with the pacing of the content but overall it is still impressive when you look at as a whole and when you add all of Horizon's updates up into one list, that's a heck lot of value for £20.

So it's confirmed to be season 3? My understanding was that this was a continuation of season 2 (horizons). I have LEP type questions.
On the paper it looks like a lot of stuff but IMO at the end the quality is just not good enough.
2.4 is for me just a new kind of signal source and instead of "the return" it was more or less a "goodbye". Publishing 3.0 for free is the right decision so I (and my private group) can decide this year if its worth to come back.
Also considering Passengers and Multipew ( and Powerplay, CQC before) £20 is a fair price. Nothing more or less.

How can you forget about landing on the planets in the first place, the fighters, the thargoid bases, etc? Heck those alone would be worth £20.
Still, what people consider value is a highly personal thing. But when I compare it to the £120 a year I would have had to pay out for SWTOR or on how much I've had to pay for my son's Star Wars's Battlefront addition (and don't get be started, I'll have to take blood pressure pills), I think even at the DDF level I'm getting good value.
