The best way is to combat log because it's not cheating....apparently.
You mean menu-logging instead, that's confirmed by FDEV as definitely not cheating.

The issue for you is that a gank is almost always over in 20 seconds to a minute.
Almost all our gank time is spent in SC waiting for a victim.
Someone tryna pull me and mess with me runs the major risk of providing me with emergent content and entertainment. Heck, i need to get better with my aim. You might think you trollin but you might just be giving someone free railgun training
Just humiliating.
Are you insane?
I had a guy try and take me like that yesterday. It was a joke. I let him live out of respect for him having the balls to face me, after blowing out his fsd and power plant for fun (lol). but really you gunna take on fragships and combat ships (i was in a fas) with a cobra and some railguns??
Please hit me up ingame for a 1v1, i gotta see this for myself.
I'm thinking on providing them some of their own medicine...
Not insane, the Cobra is a complete bar steward to strike, especially with PACs. I fly a DBS myself and used to use two PACs (TLB and Dispersal) with two Feedback Cascade railguns, and switched to four rails because I got my backside handed to me by a Cobra. The problem I faced, was the guy was at least as agile as my ship, so when I was facing him he was facing me. At that point, his railguns were considerably easier to hit with than my PACs. In general, PACs are fantastically efficient for medium ships and above, but for little ships it's extreeeemely hard to land a shot. If your opponent is moving perpendicular to you, just pointing your guns at the lead target indicator is difficult, let alone hitting them if they are vectoring and rotating at the same time.
Usually one would run out of ammo before delivering enough damage to a target. Unless it's a wing of 4 Cobra's with Railguns, Then your FDl would have a problem
please do. the more content the better
if you have one and are wiling to fight then im keen to meet you ingame to see if its possible for that ship to be viable against med ships in PvP, i gotta see this for myself.
A pair of railguns will punch through the shields of any medium ship that isn't an FDL with boosters coming out of its ears. At which point micro gimbal at long range will give you a very high accuracy against modules. If your shields pop vs a railgun ship and they move to 3km, it's time to seriously pay attention to your module health.

FDL has weak armour (no military slots), is a big triangle (even at a distance) so will get hit. Fed ships with G5 dirty have respectable closure speed, even if heavy. Rails have high penetration ergo will impact modules to a degree regardless of shields.
And a fighter launched will ruin your day, and make this entire thing a forgone conclusion.
I'll happily tel you my strategy...
First I watched a load of pvp videos on youtube.
Then I bought and outfitted a hybrid FAS and engineered it to close to meta pvp spec.
I then spent several months practicing with PAs and railguns, while trying to stay out of NPC fire and keeping them under mine.
I play in open since then, but I've yet to be griefed, worse luck. Guess a well equipped FAS isn't a time-economical target.
Eventually I'll get around to hunting them, but I still need to 'git gudder'. This isn't me reacting to them, this is me doing my ultimate endgame RP as a white knight enforcer. I'll happily be their content as long as they don't mind being mine. #muahahaha #retributionisfun
